𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 and his awesome owner tackled a hard place today. A place where they have learnt history and not positive. I think that today we flipped that and built some confidence. We hung, we watched dogs, lots of dogs and Chester had the time of his life with all the different smells. Sometimes been able to move forward is pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and looking at actually how far you have come. We were privileged to be part of that today on someone's journey 🥰

Watching the world go by...

𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬 is doing so well during his training walks! His awesome owners have been working hard between sessions and it's definitely starting to pay off! On this session we watched the world go by whilst working on chilling 😎

𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙮 smashed his 2nd 121 yesterday! We were focusing on some mat training with the goal of been able to take the mat out to more distractive environments to give him a focus. Chesters first 121 session

𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 did his first 121 session yesterday, he's an anxious boy and the world and everything in it is scary for him. He did 𝘼𝙈𝘼𝙕𝙄𝙉𝙂 and loved the training! We worked on focus and some loose lead to start with and then went on a walk, we saw dogs and people and other than a slight lunge towards a dog that was barking at him he BOSSED IT! Changing associations

A perfect example of just one of the behaviours we train especially if a dog struggles with reactivity. Allowing your dog to look at a "trigger" and recieve something good for that starts to change their association. We don't want to focus on the "bad behaviour" we want to look at WHY is the dog behaving that way and WHAT do we want to teach them instead. Recall Training with Jack

𝙕𝙪𝙠𝙞 was a superstar on her 121! She's in season but this didn't change her enthusiasm for training...SHE LOVES IT! Her amazing owner has been working very hard with zuki throughout adolescence (we all know what teenagers are like) and she's making some beautiful choices 😀
