So what makes me a good coach?
Well lots of things combined really
Experience - I’ve been doing this job a pretty long time now (23 years so far, 19 as fully qualified) so I’ve racked up plenty of experience along the way. Now this isn’t only coaching many different rider and horse combinations but riding many, many different horses over 36 years breaking and schooling all my own horses and ponies.
It’s usually a first if I haven’t seen the problems riders and horses come to me for lessons for and I have good ways through my experience of getting results from both horses and riders
This then combined with my
Knowledge of horses including there way of going, rider position to be able to assses and improve a horse and rider in the very first lesson and work out a plan going forward of what both require to achieve results
Understanding what both horse and rider require to take them to the next step or level of where they want to be.
Everyone comes with a goal of where they would like to be whether that be to just generally improve and then feel confident enough to have a go at something different, whether that be something like hacking out, going to a show, attempting their first dressage test, doing a clear round
Or going out and smashing it at a higher level showing, dressage or jumping
I have riders and horses of all levels and abilities as clients. I’m happy to help all levels and abilities
With all this in mind I have spaces available for 2024 so get booked in
