Happy 12th birthday Mister Darcy!

His birthday whilst on Doggy Holiday @ with his big little brother Cooper has comprised of being woken up with kisses and snuggles, extended belly rubs and paw massages, 2 hours of a walk and play in glorious sunshine with his holiday mates with CHEESE treatos (best birthday ever) for doing good things and stuff and now after a delicious breakfast, a big toasty sunbathe in the garden!

Lucky boy is going to have double celebrations for his 12+ a few days when his family come home to party with their special boy.

Both progressed to training outside where the pressure is on to remember all the basics of their training amidst increased distractions such as passers by, traffic noise including emergency sirens.

School Report time…Rudy is beginning to reach those challenging teenage months…yes, we know they can feel like years, but since his first session at he and his fabulous people have been practicing lots and lots to help improve his listening and concentration and he’s doing so well AND having fun.

This afternoon his humans needed a bit of support and advice ahead of our next face to face session in a couple of weeks time, to help with a couple of issues surrounding his ‘leave’ command. A few coaching messages later and good news, his mum was able to help her boy understand what was being asked of him.

Little but big steps which are making all of the difference!
