Hugely proud of Remy today for not only getting out on a group walk after a long stretch of home visits to build up our trust, but going off the lead and behaving like a zen warrior! ππΌππΌππ

After a bit of a false start last week with Senay's van trouble, it was great to start off the week yesterday as we mean to go on π
2 wonderful groups, and a gorgeous pop in. We saw one of our nervous dogs warm to Senay straight away, lots of playtime between doggy friends, our newest puppy smashed more meetings with new dogs with a gorgeous, calm, friendly manner, and Remy made more steps in the right direction during his home visit β€οΈ

Friday was a great day were I got to bring our boys out on walks for the day ππ»π
All the dogs got along so so well had an absolute blast running about, with little cuddle breaks in between to sit and watch the world go by... a great activity for your dog to practice being chilled while out and about!

How gorgeous does our Sid look in his space needed yellow bandana?
I haven't done a post about yellow dogs for a while, but it's something I'm really passionate about.
The yellow dog movement is aimed to let other dog walkers know if a dog may need more space. This could be for all sorts of reasons including anxiety issues, recovering from an op, elderly, etc.
I used to use a space needed vest for my Bella and it worked wonders. So many people I passed noticed it and responded by just popping their dog on a lead while they went past, or not reaching out to stroke her.
It made a huge difference to her, and over time improved her confidence as every time she was going out, she was getting the space she needed.
Not every dog likes the company of other dogs, or is confident with strangers. That is absolutely fine, and just a part of their personality. We, as dog guardians, can use these yellow dog accessories to help advocate for them and help them feel safe.

This had to be a PB for me πππΌ
17 dogs walked yesterday, including my own!
I was shattered when I got home, but so happy looking at my little business and how far it has come.
I remember first quitting my job 4 years ago to start this up and having a total of 3 clients!
Very scary times, but forever glad I took that dive off into the deep end.
I have learned so much in those 4 years, and I'm forever grateful to everyone who's ever hired me ππ»π

Remy has a few hang ups with new people, so he's going to also be enjoying some time getting to know each other before he meets all his new pals!

Hi all ππΌ hope you're having a fabulous weekend!
I just wanted to let my lovely clients know that my diary is taking some heavy fine tuning from next week onwards to coordinate everyone.
There are so many factors including days and times requested, location, which dogs get on best with who, etc, etc
I'm very excited about taking on some lovely new pups so watch this space for some new super cute faces!
I do get a LOT of last minute cancellations and requests for changes or more specific times after I've already done my diary and sent everyone's times round on a Sunday.
Can my clients please be conscious of this as its going to be really hard to make changes now it's so full ππ»

Yesterday's sunny walkies π
It's been a bit of a challenge lately with having to pop back home in between walks for Bella (she's poorly with a brain tumor π) but these walks have been a great break from the stresses including my recent house move π.... never a dull moment!
Now to find some quieter spots on these lovely sunny days. It's so great to see so many people out enjoying the sunshine and the outdoors, but it can add a few challenges when walking a group of pups!
