Hello, and a very happy 2025! 🐾🎆

The past month has been a quiet one for us on social media since the birth of our second baby girl.
I felt I needed a little step back to settle and enjoy time with family, plus, trying to make my brain fathom anything other than juggling a newborn and toddler has been pretty impossible, to say the least! 🥴
I owe a huge thank you to my fiancé who has been keeping on top of the daily dog field jobs while I haven't been around, including fencing checks, keeping waste bags, toys and treats restocked and empting the bins 👏🏻

In terms of the field, we have seen another joyful winter of rain, storms, and badly timed frosts just to add even more moisture into the already overly saturated ground.
I like to be honest and upfront about the conditions of our paddock because we are on heavy clay here and that unfortunately means that our ground is easily affected by flooding and footfall, and, currently, the entrance and area around the dog shelter is what I'd call a bit of a slop pit...
However, the further you walk out into the field, the better the ground and a lot less mud there is to deal with!
We would love to be able to do something about it right now, but the front area is far too saturated that anything put on top would turn to mulch and only make the matter worse. We will, however, be looking into how we can fix this issue for future winters, and we hope to start sorting something come spring.

A big thank you to so many who continue to visit our field no matter the weather, it means a great deal to us!

🌟 A little update...
Six days ago, we had the absolute joy of welcoming our second baby girl into the world 🩷
My fiancé has been brilliant the past few weeks at looking after the dog field in my temporary absence - making sure to keep the shelter tidy with dog balls and treats topped up, bins emptied daily, and poo bags restocked.

I have been doing my best to get back to customers as promptly as possible but hope you understand that there may currently be a slight delay with messages/emails and on social media, while we settle in with our new addition.

I would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support of our paddock, and I very much look forward to getting back to doggy duties and decorating the shelter for Christmas as soon as I am able 🥰🐾

An afternoon of cleaning! 🐾🌟

I do sometimes question the number of hours I've spent washing mud off of things in the field just for them to get muddy again, but looking at the before and after photos makes it feel worth the while! 😁
The hoppers have been cleaned off and moved to a new area, the sensory garden signs washed down, as well as the bright pink bench and the Scrub-a-Dub-Tub bath 🛁

They may well be decorated with mud again very soon, but, at least for now, we can enjoy them looking temporarily clean again! 😂😍

🌟 Wall of Doggy Fame 🌟 - How it started VS. how it's going! 😍🐾

In June last year, I put the first few dog photos up on our shelter wall in hopes that it could be an extra little something fun and personalised for our customers to enjoy.
Since then, it has become a huge hit and an absolute joy to receive so many wonderful photos of happy four-legged visitors loving off-lead time in our field! 😍
Thank you to all who have sent pictures to help grow our wall and for the love and positive feedback we've had towards our field as a whole. It is hugely appreciated 🥰
