Dog Walking Service and Home Pop in Service. Welcome to Lucky Paws Pet Care. I started my business in 2013 and I still love every minute of it.

My name is Dawn and my business was born from my love animals both large and small, furry and not so furry. This page gives an outline about Lucky Paws Pet Care and my interest and care for animals. I live in and work from Wallsend and have had animals all of my life, from dogs, birds, reptiles and rodents. At the present time I have a Bearded Dragon called Oscar, an Orange Spotted Agama called De

xter, a Chameleon called Pascal and an aquarium full of cold water fish. I offer dog walking and pop in visits. When I do something I always want it to be of the best possible standard, therefore, I am a member of NARPS (National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers) and undertook their comprehensive business course which was a great insight into pet care and dog walking. I also have a qualification in pet first aid. For extra peace of mind, and to know you are in safe hands, I am CRB checked and fully insured. (All certificates are available on request). I never post anything like this,however, I feel the need to say this. If you see people with dogs on leads, it's for a variety of reasons. Please don't let your off lead approach with the "he's friendly" cry! It's everyone's job to keep all dogs safe. When your dog is injured by a dog that's on the lead because you let yours approach, that's on you, not the person who has warned you in advance.
I was threatened with violence yesterday in this exact situation! It's getting far too common that people will not take responsibility for their dog. It's not fair on any dog to be put in this situation. Please think!

Another sad day today. We said goodbye to Jake. He'd been unwell for a few months but wasn't giving up his walks for anyone. RIP young man. This photo was taken on his last walk this morning. You can eat anything you like now 🥰😢
