Just before Christmas little Miss Tilly found her forever home.

Tilly was surrendered to the vets after her owner was unable to pay for necessary bladder stone surgery, we were asked by them to step in and of course we couldn’t refuse. Tilly had emergency surgery the very next day, where a large amount of stones were removed.

Tilly is now best of friends with Hatty, and even tells the ponies off when they are naughty! Tilly loves nothing more than giving her bestie kisses 😘

Today Tilly spent the day at Beco and is going to be featured in their next newsletter!

We are just over the moon, she is getting the life she deserves and is loved beyond words. Thank you Charlotte and Hatty for this amazing update ❤️

‼️🐾 FOSTER HOME PLEA 🐾‼️

Our lovely Matty arrived only this weekend, but he is very unsure of the other dog in his foster home, so we would like to find him a dog free foster home in the CT14 postcode area, where he can chill out whilst he has his veterinary work completed.

Matty is approximately a year old and absolutely adores people. As he has come from the stray system we would like an adult only foster home without other dogs. Full support and expenses are given. Please get in touch via our messenger or WhatsApp if you can help.

🚨🚨Rehoming alert 🚨🚨

The gorgeous Derek came into us after being found straying with a ruptured eye at the end of November.

The Dog Warden who collected him immediately reached out to see if we could help, as Derek needed urgent removal of the eye, and of course we jumped to help and get him feeling better. Derek has been aged at 12-13years old and has been recovering with Karen and her husband.

Today was his official adoption day 🥳 Derek (now Terry), will live out his remaining years with Karen, her husband and his new sister ❤️

Derek is a spunky young at heart lad, who loves his bunny and has his new mum wrapped around his paw.

Please welcome Brandy into the CPR fold!

Brandy has come in to our care, after his aging owner could no longer meet his needs.

Brandy is a 5 year old Cavalier Spaniel, initially nervous but super sweet 🥰 This young man needs his assessment and veterinary work completing before being ready for his forever home.

🚨 Introducing CPRs latest intakes of 2025 - Benji and Matty 🚨

Please welcome Benji (terrier) and Matty (cockerpoo).
Both these boys are believed to be under 12 months old. They were found straying separately and have both served their statutary 7 days with Medway stray services.

Both are settling into their foster homes and will be available for rehoming, after routine veterinary works and full assessments.

We have agreed to take in a young male Cavalier in need, but we are really short of our usual foster homes this month. Could any of our previous adopters, fosterers or local volunteers look after this lad and see him through his neuter before we place him for adoption? We would prefer a home in the CT postcode area, either without other dogs or with larger neutered females, and full support and expenses are provided. Our lovely, lively Leo is just over a year old and still very much a pup, he is very quick to learn helped by the fact he is both food and toy orientated. As a larger Crested, and being very intelligent and energetic, he needs an active home who will undertake ongoing training with him and where he will get regular exercise and off lead runs.

We would like to take a moment to remember one of our amazing supporters Graham Ashby Wright who sadly passed away recently after a short illness. Graham’s memorial fund has raised £2356.50 for Cinque Ports Rescue, which shows how loved, admired and respected he was. Every penny will help towards the dogs we will take in this year, and our next little nameless boy will be named for Graham ❤️

Our thoughts and love now lie with Graham’s husband Barry Ashby-Wright, and all their friends and family.

Thank you Graham, we will remember you with love forever 🙏

❤️ Please welcome the first dog of 2025 LEO ❤️

Leo is a young bouncy Chinese Crested hairy hairless.

We were asked to help with Leo when another rescue we work with reached out, and of course we said yes.

This lovely little chap is settling into his foster home and, once checked by our vets Lakeview Veterinary Centre and had his period of assessment, he will be available for rehoming.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our volunteers, supporters, donors, and adopters a very Happy New Year!

In 2024 we had 34 dogs come into our care, we assisted another 19 into rescue, and one cat who was in urgent need and went on to a lovely home. We couldn’t do any of this without your help, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much for your continued support.

We wish you all a very happy and healthy 2025 🐶

🚨🚨 Betty update 27/12 🚨🚨

Today the gorgeous Betty had her routine spay with the wonderful Lakeview Veterinary Centre.

It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as it was looking like possibly pyometra was starting to develop, along with adhesions.

This is the reason we will always neuter our dogs, and always under the advice of our vets. Pyometra can be a deadly disease if not dealt with swiftly.

Betty is recovering in her foster home and has come a long way after being mauled. She is healing well and is a happy little lady, who loves her toys dearly.

🐾🐾 Flora update 🐾🐾 For all the Flora fans ♥️ Flora is healing amazingly well and is taking everything in her stride. This was her first proper walk since her operation, and look at her go! The poor girl had been in discomfort and pain for some time and the amputation of the badly broken leg, has given her her life back.
