Elf Day #21 the Elf today had wrapped up warm after a swim!

🐾✨ It's crucial to keep our furry friends warm and cozy with dry coats! 🌧️💧 Exposure to cold air post-treatment can lead to chills and discomfort.

A dry coat not only helps retain body heat but also aids in muscle recovery, allowing them to enjoy the benefits of their therapy to the fullest! Plus, it’s a great way to show them some extra love and care.

Day #19 and the Elf has popped by to see the Meg the beautiful beagle who is on holiday with us 🥰

**Important Update on Appointment Booking Policy** 💦 HYDROTHERAPY AND PHYSIOTHERAPY 🥼 We want to take a moment to address some recent changes to our appointment booking policy at K9 Core Veterinary Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy Centre. Due to a massive increase in cancellations and rearrangements, we have unfortunately experienced financial strain, which we can no longer absorb without a dramatic price increase, which we do not want to do. So instead to continue providing high-quality services, we must implement the following changes: 1. **Payment at Booking**: All appointments must now be paid for at the time of booking. This change will help us cover staffing and operational costs, regardless of attendance. 2. **Non-Refundable Policy**: Please note that all appointments are non-refundable. 3. **Transferability**: If you need to rearrange your appointment, you may do so within 7 working days of booking. The appointment is transferable, allowing you some flexibility. We truly value your understanding and support as we navigate these changes. 💩 We have had an unprecedented amount of dog poop left around the front gates and driveway today and yesterday. We will be going through the cameras to check the culprits. 💩 We supply bags, they're on the gate, for free, there is no excuse for this behaviour.

Remember we have an immediate ban from all our services for those not picking it up. A very exciting moment at K9 Core 💙 Sizzles the mini dachshund came to see me in February, completely paralysed in her hind end, unable to stand, and with no sensation in her legs. We were realistic about Sizzles not being able to walk again, however the goal was to get her ready for her wheels from Dedicated to Dachshunds charity in August. Since then Sizzles has proven to be a little fighter, and surprised us every single week with little improvements. Her owner Tracy has done Sizzles’ tailored exercise programme every single day and been so dedicated to Sizzles’ recovery. She can now stand unaided, has huge amounts of sensation in her feet, and can almost pull herself up in to a stand. A few weeks ago Sizzles finally got her wheels, and after a lot of trial and error fitting them, Sizzles was able to walk away! Although not suitable for every dog, the wheels have given Sizzles and Tracy a new lease of life, and I can’t wait to see the adventures they get up to as Sizzles builds up her fitness in the wheels 💪🏼💙
