Being my last day at Beau Chien on Thursday, I would like to say I feel grateful and blessed to those who have decided to join me on my next adventure at Brindle & Blue. I can’t wait to see you all at my new premises.

To those that I have had to say goodbye to I wish you all the best and thank you for your customer over the years, I will miss all the cuddles and kisses from your fur babies.

‼️Import Announcement‼️

Hi all x

As most of you are aware we have decided it’s time to hang up our clippers, put down the scissors and close the Beau Chien salon.

This decision has not been an easy one to make and after 6 years trading we will miss the friendships we have made and of course all of your beautiful dogs. Dogs that we have come to love as if they were our own!

We are sad to write this but there are some exciting new adventures on the horizon for both myself and for Jodey.

I am making a huge jump and emigrating to Spain from February. This is a big change in my life and I am so grateful to you all for supporting me. I will still own my travel business Harry Eglington at Hays Travel, so please don’t forget to message me for any holidays and I would love for you all to follow my page, so I can stay in touch with as many of you as possible, regular updates of your pups will keep me sane, whilst I’m not grooming anymore.

Jodey is opening her very own salon closer to home. I know we have spoken to a lot of you already and you will be following her, which is fab! Jodey is an amazing groomer with years of experience behind her, so my clients who can travel, I will be recommending for you to head to her too! I’m sure everyone will join me in wishing Jodey every success in her new venture. Please go and follow her new page Brindle & Blue Dog Grooming I can’t wait to see her and her new business grow!

Jodey will be grooming at Beau Chien until 11th January and I will be there until the end of January.

The salon phone will no longer be in use from the end of December, so please make sure you call us before Christmas if you want to book in! We will also have no card machine, so it will be cash only throughout January.

The last thing to say is THANK YOU! Thank you to every client big and small that has passed through our door. Thank you to our neighbouring shops who have helped us when needed. And a big thank you to Jodey for being the best business partner and friend anyone could have asked for over the last 6 years.

It really has been an honour to be your groomers!

🎄 CHRISTMAS UPDATE 🎄

We have a few important rules for Christmas we want to let you know. We also only have a handfull of appointments left before the end of 2023 with January nearly full too!

‼️ If you need to rearrange your appointment, please be aware this may not be possible and you may have to wait until the New Year for a groom. We will try to do our best to accommodate where possible.

‼️ If your dog is booked in for a full groom and you decide you want to change to a bath & tidy up, PLEASE let us know in advance so we can free up space for other people. If you don’t let us know, you may still be charged for the full groom as the full groom time slot has been reserved for your dog.

‼️ Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a late notice fee of 50% of your dogs groom price, and appointments that are missed completely will mean we won’t be offering another appointment.

‼️You may not receive a reminder text! Our diary system has been having a few issues lately and some reminder texts aren’t sending. Please make sure you aren’t relying on these and have your appointment noted down too!

‼️ Please be on time both dropping off and collecting. December is our busiest time of year and if you are more than 10 minutes late then we may have to turn your dog away.

‼️Finally, please make sure you take your dog to the toilet before they arrive. We are seeing an increasing amount of accidents in the salon lately.

The Christmas period has started, so please bare with us and message the page if you need any help! 🧡
