Starting our team introductions with Lizzie who is just about to qualify as a VCA (veterinary care assistant) and will be soon moving onto her nursing.

Liz started with us some 2 years ago and has been an amazing contribution to the team. It is not just her heart that lies in veterinary, it’s her whole life. It was her who adopted Roo, a rescue lurcher which was dropped injured at our practice with no owner. It is also her who would take pebbles home to paint rainbows on them to make sure we have something to give pet owners at the sad times when they are saying goodbyes.

You can meet Lizzie mostly in the mornings when she is admitting patients or on consults. Your pets will always be looked after well with her❤️

We are having an 'ear month' so check what we do during video-otoscopy under general anaesthesia.👍

This is one of many videos on our YouTube channel. Video-otoscopy is a camera procedure where we look inside the dog's or cat's ear and we are able to remove debris/ wax/ Pseudomonas membranes and clear the ear so that the medication can finally get to the ear drum and clear the infection for some time.

We started dedicated EAR clinics. 👍🏻😁
They are 30minute long appointments where we do a full assessment, AI-read ear swabs and attempt video otoscopy. These are aimed at patients with recurrent problems or complex cases.

These appointments are available for the time being only with Gary on Fridays 3-4.30pm. To make it accessible for everyone we fixed the price as a package at £79

We are really excited to be now offering a novel technique for cruciate ligament repair in dogs called Zlig!

This was adopted from human medicine and in contrast to the traditional bone-cutting techniques it represents a simple replacement of the damaged ligament with an artificial one. The patients can start with mobilisation straight after surgery so it is perfect for those young and bouncy ones. 🥰
Furthermore it is a bit cheaper and we also offer interest-free repayment schemes to make it all the more affordable. 👍

Introducing Our New Muzzles for Safer Extubation! When pets wake up from general anaesthesia, it can be a confusing and disorienting experience. In selected cases when muzzle is required, we sometimes had to compromise between fitting the muzzle timely and extubating as late as possible.

Our new muzzles help ensure a safer and calmer removal of the endotracheal tubes while staff can stay safe. 🐾

We'd like to find his owner and let them know.

The cat was found in Brownhills.
