Brilliant day last year don’t miss out 🐾🐾

Last week Friday we received a message from little Bruno’s mom he wasn’t well. We have been walking Bruno for about 5 years. Bruno’s mom and I had discussed moving him to our vets 387 Veterinary Centre. What can I say but thank goodness we did. Bruno was a very poorly boy to be honest his family Pete and I were really frightened. I rang 387 vets explaining Bruno’s mom is housebound and we wanted to register immediately and could a vet see Bruno that day. Right from the first phone call to arriving at the vets to seeing a vet everyone was so kind. Hamish took Bruno’s blood and we found out he was severely anemic. He then did a scan and we were told he had a tumour in his spleen. This was Friday about 6.30pm when the surgery closed. With out hesitation Hamish said he needed immediate surgery, he stayed with his team and carried out the surgery. Bruno was then transferred to Pool house again the care was outstanding accepting our calls at any time. You can see little Bruno yesterday having a treat waiting to see Hamish, a totally different boy. The family and I truly believe they saved Bruno’s life. I wanted to share this story because every member of the team were incredible. The calls this week checking how he is to them all seeing him Tuesday and yesterday. Bruno has gone from being completely lifeless to his usual self 💙🐾thank you so much to all of you we are truly grateful. If anyone is looking for a vets we can highly recommend 387 vets 🐾

So what better way to celebrate Bosty’s 5th year, than with a Dogfest summer event!. We have looked back at last years event and have tweaked some things and will be putting stuff in place to hopefully make it even better!. We hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas 🎄 we wanted to thank everyone for our beautiful gifts cards and amazing messages. You have all been so very kind and generous, please know we are very grateful. We feel truly blessed to look after your precious boys and girls. 🐾🐾 we have 2 gifts that we are unsure who they are off. My lovely husband took the cards out of the bags so I could not identify who they are off. If you would mind letting us know please who they are off second photo xx

It's certainly felt festive over the last few days with the weather! ❄️⛄ 🥶

We're starting the count down to our annual Christmas Dog Show! 🐾 🐾

Held at on Sunday 15th December 🎄

The dog friendly cafe will be open from 10am, serving all the usual amazing hot drinks and festive food 🍰 ☕

Judging will begin at 11am, with all entries pay on the day as you come into the ring 🐕🐶

We will also have our mini Christmas market, so if you know of any small businesses who would love a stall, tag them on this post and get them to pop us a message! 🎁

Walk with me; don’t just walk me. Slow down and see the world as I do. I know you’ve got things to do, places to be. But out here, with the ground beneath our feet and the sky above us, there’s a whole world worth noticing.

The autumn chill is in the air today, crisp and full of new smells. It’s different from yesterday, and different from the day before. Every day is new. The leaves crunch under my paws, and I stop to breathe in the rich, earthy scent of them. To you, it might just be a pile of leaves, but to me, it’s a story—one I can’t help but dive into, nose first.

There’s a squirrel somewhere nearby, I can sense it, darting up a tree, its tiny heart beating fast. And the wind carries whispers of things far away: a family cooking dinner, the trace of a cat that passed by early this morning, and the faint perfume of flowers holding on to their last bit of summer. It’s all here, swirling around us if you just take the time to notice.

You tug on the leash, eager to move on, and I can tell you’re thinking about something far away from here. But when we walk, truly walk, you and I can be in this moment together. Feel the cool air brush against your skin, let it wake you up. Notice how the sun filters through the branches, casting shadows that dance on the pavement. Hear the crunch of the leaves beneath our steps, like a secret rhythm just for us.

To you, it might be just another walk, a daily routine to tick off the list. But for me, every step is an adventure. Each scent is a clue, each sound a piece of a puzzle. When you walk with me, really walk with me, you’ll see it too. The world is bigger than what we’re rushing toward. It’s right here, in the small moments, in the quiet spaces between your thoughts.

So, slow down. Breathe. Let the chill fill your lungs and the colours fill your eyes. Walk with me, don’t just walk me. See the world as I do, if only for a little while. It’s all waiting for you, just beneath the surface.
