Coopers Reef - please read through to understand the companies codes and ethics
We specialise in Australian LPS corals. Although we have suppliers worldwide and we can import fish corals and clean up crew. Everytime I get an order in we give the livestock some grace time to settle down, feed and recover. Let's face it, if we travelled half way round the world we would not want to be packed up an
d moving on again instantly. If you wish to reserve a coral you will be asked to pay a deposit. This is to ensure that there is no time wasting. Unfortunately this happens a lot. Not always purposely but we need to cover ourselves from this. When ordering fish - when we order fish we will quarentine each fish as an individual until they are ready to move onto their new homes. Fish orders will only be placed once a non-refundable deposit has been paid. I do not like to hold fish in stock for too long. At the end of the day it's about keeping these little guys happy and a holding tank is not the long term solution. Deposits can be paid via cash or PayPal. Shipping - Our standard shipping method is as follows. We use 8L polyboxes, packed out with shredded paper. This is to provide insulation and stability during transit. We use Uniheat 40 Heat Packs. We only ship next day and we do NOT ship over the bank holiday period. Our courier knows we only use fragile handling as standard. This means our parcels will not go onto machine conveyor belts and are only moved by hand. Coopers Reef dead on arrival policy is as follows. In the event of a coral turning up dead. Photographic evidence of the coral, still in the bag that I've packed it in is sent to my within 24hours. I send a business card with all orders placed and I ask for customers to contact me within 3 hours of the order being received. In the event of a coral being placed in the new owners tank the DOA will become void. This is due to their being too many contraindications that may affect the health and wellbeing of these corals. Poor water quality, high metals, mishandling of the corals, fish eating or pecking at corals etc. if you have any questions regarding any of the above please contact us before placing your order
