Phoenix you are hands down the most beautiful mare I have ever known, inside and out.

I can’t believe I’m writing this but I think I’m going to be looking for a new 🏡 for this beautiful girl and her gorgeous baby Aquila.

I’m running out of time on my land, I can’t find land available anywhere that would work for us and I’m already going to be keeping Spartan in c**t herd livery. So without my business, I can’t afford to put them in livery too.

What an amazing nearly three years we’ve had.

From taking on our property, which was in a complete mess, with four horses who had various issues to work through. Through challenges, babies, a lot of personal growth, more horses. Helping lots of people and horses up level themselves…

We’ve done a good thing here. It’s sad to think it’s coming to an end, but it isn’t really ending.

We’ve helped, educated and encouraged enough that that will permeate into a larger community.

It’s a ripple effect, and the rock we threw in was kindness, effort, a wish for things to be better.

That doesn’t end, it disperses and it manifests in other people and places.

I’m sad that I won’t be looking out of my bedroom window to see my babies playing outside in the mornings for a while after this summer ends.

But I’m more hopeful now that I’ll be able to find them interim homes where they’ll continue growing and hopefully in a couple of years I’ll have them home again.

Only the next time they’re at home they’ll really be home, on land we own, and their futures will be secure. This is what we need to work on now.

We’ve already begun the process of preparing to move to Texas. It’ll take around a year to have everything in place but we’ll be going next summer.

I’ll always look back on these years, these people and these horses with gratitude.

Super pony looking for his forever human! Gray is a 13.3hh four year old papered Welsh C sooty palomino gelding with a heart of gold. He’s been with us for the last few weeks to start off his riding career and find a new home. He’s been exceptionally well handled since he was a foal and has been taught perfect ground manners while being given time to grow and mature. He’s been trained under the TRT Method ‘Preparing the Perfect Pony’ system and has fantastic groundwork, is trained to park by the block, to come back to the person in the middle when the rider stops riding, and to keep himself calm in all situations. He is hacking confidently and cantering out sensibly in a group, he goes in front or behind no problem at all. He has begun cantering and pole work in the arena so we can show prospective buyers but ideally he’ll do a lot more strength training out hacking before he’s schooled too much more in the arena. He’s being taught to find his balance and reach for the contact and is forward off the leg with a lovely soft mouth. He has never bucked, bolted or reared and barely looks at anything. He will make the ultimate allrounder and child’s best friend, or a fab partner for a lightweight adult. He will only go to a knowledgable 5* home. Asking 6🥕 for this little angel.

Ten month old Spartan and four month old Aquila!

I’ve been a bit quiet lately. Just battening down the hatches a bit and taking a break, ready for the next up level. Quietly repositioning and allowing situations and vibrations that were holding us back to dissipate. Enjoying my human babies and horse babies, prioritising growth and learning.

Here are some pics of the horse babies. I’m brimming with pride and gratitude for them. They’re both so sweet and wonderful to be around, with beautiful manners and cheeky engaging personalities. I’m so deeply grateful to have welcomed them both into the world and to be able to nurture them and watch them grow.
