Are you looking for a 'pawsome' pair to join your family?

Delightful duo, Maisie & Archie, are looking for a forever home together. They are an extremely bonded pair who have been together for 8 years, and thrive in each other’s company.

We are hoping to find a loving family that can open their hearts and home to not one, but two beautiful Cockapoos.

Despite their ages of 8 and 9 years, having Cocker Spaniel and Poodle in their mix means that Maisie & Archie are still very active, and like going on long walks and swimming in the sea.

They are hoping their new family will enjoy going on adventures and being out and about exploring as much as they do.

In their previous home, Maisie & Archie liked being close with their family and would regularly snuggle on the bed or sofa with them.

Therefore, they'd love it if their new family would be happy to share their furniture so they can all cuddle up together, especially in upcoming winter months!

Out on walks, the duo are happy to meet and greet other dogs, so the team at Lincoln Farm think they would be happy to share a home with other dogs, pending successful meetings at the centre.

Due to previous information from their last home, we feel that Maisie & Archie would be best suited to a home without cats or small furries.

However, as they have both been around children before, we think they would be able to live in a home with children over the age of 10.

If you would like to find out more about these utter sweeties, please visit our website at: www.mgar.org.uk/product734 and contact our Lincoln Farm centre for further information 🐾

Sam is a 6 year old Cavachon who will really melt your heart. She has come to us from a breeder with very limited vision due to her very advanced cataracts, but also with the most delightful, kind temperament. She is nervous and overwhelmed, understandably as she has just had a massive change in her life and all of a sudden has to get used to a new environment, which is never the easiest, even for dogs with full vision, so we really hope her kennel stay can be as short as possible. Sam has never lived in a home and it will be scary for her at first, she will need a family who are around a lot and can really help her and ease her in to this new life, as well as another dog to follow who can show her the ropes and reassure her.

Sam, as mentioned above has a gorgeous temperament, she gets on with all dogs, shares everything very well, she is nervous but easy to handle at the same time and is quite comfortable when being held. She may not have the best vision, but she can still love like any other dog. She could be rehomed with older, very sensible children of maybe 10+, who full understand her limited vision and her anxieties. Kennels are no place for a dog like Sam, if you think you have the right home for her to thrive in, please consider viewing her profile on our website and filling in an application form for her 💙

Shared something similar before but worth sharing again.
Long walks or long play sessions are detrimental to ur dogs growth and wellbeing…. Don’t be fooled into thinking they need the extra exercise xx

❤️🐾❤️PUPPY LOVE ❤️🐾❤️

Worth a read folks 🤗

When you get your 8/10 week old puppies, please keep this image in mind.
Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones.
In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

But when you're letting puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed….
take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint.
When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise.
So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once…🐾❤️🐾

A dog's coat keeps it WARM in the WINTER and and even WARMER in the SUMMER. That's why many wild animals shed signficantly to reduce thermal load in the Summer. Many dogs live in climates they weren't bred for e.g. Huskies in the desert. A thick coat does not keep a dog cool in a hot climate. Insulation keeps heat in or out. It depends on what the temperature direction is. If the outside is lower than the dogs skin heat moves from skin to outside and the coat slows that down. Great when its cold. If the outside is hotter than the dogs skin then the coat slows the movement of heat in BUT - the dog is still producing heat continously that it has to get rid of, so now it has to increase respiratory evaporative heat loss and sweating evaporative heat loss.

Hi everyone, just a reminder of charges…

🐶 Visitors (fleas) are not welcome in the groom room and are a £10 additional charge to cover fumigating costs…doggy will also be sent home

🐶 Matted fur is uncomfortable for your furbabies and the extra charge ranges from £5-10, anymore then 15 mins of dematting will lead to them being clipped to prevent discomfort to the dog. Matting can cause sore skin, rashes even hepatoma and doesn’t always look pretty…please brush frequently to prevent this or adopt a shorter style that suits lifestyle

🐶 Late cancellation prevents me reallocating to people waiting and loss of income. Less than 48 hours weekday notice will incur full groom charge ahead of next appointment

🐶 Late arrivals cannot be taken if over 15 mins past app time. Full groom charge to cover missed appointment is expected / payable ahead of next appointment. Late arrivals impact dogs booked after your appointment and family time

🐶 Collection calls / texts are made and an estimated collection time is available at drop off. Please ensure you are available to collect. Late pick ups (after 15 mins of advised time) will incur extra charge

Thank you for your understanding 🙏🏻🐶
