I didn’t manage to get an after picture of this handsome chap- but this lovely boy who was rehomed at a very young age, has had some form of mistreatment, which has resulted in high anxiety around his face in particular! Today we have taken his body back really short to let the coat start again, due to some matting! Next time we will see if he is happy enough with having his face tidied up :) in the meantime time- mum is going to practise touching his face! 🐾

Before & After 🐾 this boy has had some unpleasant experiences being groomed in the past, and his family were worried about how he would be having it done from home- he was an absolute dream!!! We didn't need to use the muzzle, he only need a couple of very shirt breaks, and he gave lots of kisses!! ❤️🐾

This old boy absolutely hates being groomed, but with the warm weather approaching we had to do it- so he's been taken back super short, so we don't have to do it as regularly! 💙

Daisy doo! This gorgeous girl is so gentle, but absolutely hates being groomed! We are doing her in 2 stages, so will be heading back next week, for a 2nd deshed! 🐾

Such a sweet girl! This little Pup had her 1st big girl groom today, at just 4 months old! We were a bit scared of the dryer, but managed well! 🩷🐾

* Trigger warning, sad post! *

It's been a difficult weekend on the grooming front this week!

The first boy I had, was the lovely George the cocker spaniel- this handsome chap had some trouble at the beginning of the year, resulting in an emergency op- meaning he missed his grooming appointment! He then couldn't get in anywhere, until they found me! He's now been taken right back, so that we can start again! This was done over 2 days, due to George finding it very stressful! I'm due back Wednesday, to tackle those claws!

The second boy I had, was the lovely Rolfe, the cockapoo! This handsome chap was an absolute angel being groomed, but did give us quite the scare! He started fitting/ seizing half way through his groom.. he is now absolutely fine, we are unsure of the cause, but we did manage to finish- with the vets approval!

I'm very much looking forward to helping these boys grow their coats back, and hopefully keep them next time!
