Furnecessity opened January 2012. Being a friendly & reliable dog grooming salon that takes great pride in the work that is carried out. Always putting the client and their dogs first, listening to you and understanding the style of groom you want. We would never do anything without asking you so you can put your trust in us. We would never let the dog feel uncomfortable while in our care and woul

d rather they came on smaller more frequent visits if required to ease them in to an unfamiliar environment. Our clients say how their adored pups are very excited to come visit the salon and always look relaxed and comfortable when they are picked up which is always lovely to see. We offer many services and can cater for small and larger breeds. We do book up fairly quickly so advise to ring or message us to arrange an apportionment at least 2 weeks before a groom is needed. You are also able to book a number of grooming slots in advance to guarantee your space :)

PUPPY INTRODUCTION SESSION- SCISSORS Here Mabel is having her feet trimmed in a calm and relaxed environment. She wasn't that keen to start with but she soon realised that nothing bad was happening. :)

PUPPY INTRODUCTION SESSION - Familiarizing with Clippers Preparing Mabel for a Lifetime of Grooming Mabel, an adorable puppy with long, curly fur, will require regular grooming every 10-12 weeks as she grows into a magnificent and elegant young lady. It is crucial to acclimate her to the sound and sensation of clippers early on. During our first grooming session, Mabel proved to be an absolute superstar!

Furnecessity is a friendly & reliable dog grooming salon that takes great pride in the work that is carried out.

Having worked with a range of animals for over 18 years, be that creepy crawlies, fluffy bunnies, reptiles all the way up to bigger animals like monkeys, camels, bears, rhinos and giraffe (the list is endless). We feel you can leave your much loved family pet with us and be asured they will be in great hands. Always putting the client and their dogs first, listening to you and understanding the style of groom you want. We would never do anything without asking you so you can put your trust in us. We would never let the dog feel uncomfortable while in our care and would rather they came on smaller more frequent visits if required to ease them in to an unfamiliar environment.

We also offer Puppy Experience Sessons that can help start the grooming routien. Being very flexible and can offer late evening, weekend and bank holiday slots as well as weekdays. Our clients say how their adored pups are very excited to come visit the salon and always look relaxed and comfortable when they are picked up which is always lovely to see. We offer many services and can cater for small and larger breeds. We do book up fairly quickly so advise to ring or message us to arrange an apportionment at least 4 weeks before a groom is needed.
