I’ve been enjoying some much needed cuddles with Cassie over the last few days🥹

She’s now out on grazing for the summer and is loving life.
She unfortunately had a little fight with a tree branch on her first night so I’ve been on cleaning and creaming duty for her wound. The vet put 12 staples in, there’s not many left now but what is left is getting taken out on Friday and hopefully they’ll say it’s healing nicely🤞🏼

She left a completely different horse to what she came to me as, I’m so proud of her learning to trust and I know she’s going to do so well in the future🫶🏼

Crystal has started her backing journey with me and is proving very willing and has started to really trust her handlers.
She will make a great all rounder in the right hands.

She is based in Warrington and ready for her new home.
She will continue her education with me for the time being and her 💵 will increase

Fancy lungeing, hair cuts, farrier visits and pretty sunrises has been my week so far🥰
The girls had their first farrier visit whilst with me this week, Cassie was a little bit sassy and Crystal enjoyed her time in la la land🤣

Busy weekend planned for the girls, they are both having a ‘desensitising’ session with some tarp I bought..😳
Crystal is going to get her probably first ever bath and hopefully end up looking like a unicorn🩷

Crystal had a visit from the farrier and a mane tidy yesterday, she’s coming together lovely! Just needs a bath now🙊

Crystal had her first rug on too, I’ve been wanting to wait until she’s more confident with things over her bottom, which paid off as she happily let me put it on😇

Proof that taking things at the horse’s pace is the way to go! Crystal has been proving a little nervous with new things but she has started to really trust me to push her out of her comfort zone this last week.

Now that the girls are all settled in at their new yard, I am going to try make a conscious effort to post more on here😇

They are doing super well!
Crystal has really switched up for the better, she was very testing when she first moved, to the point I considered if she was too much for me! But after some work (teaching her we can be bestfriends but what I say goes) she has really changed into a lovely girl, it’s just all about gaining her trust and we can start to crack on with the breaking process!

Cassie is amazing, she is my little angel child, even though she’s turned into a 10 week old puppy and just nibbles me all the time🥲 but she’s become really confident since moving, she’s had shavings bags on her back, all her feet picked up and is learning how to groom me. I just adore her! Can’t wait for her to turn 3 so I can start working with her🙈

Cassie was finding the snowy weather a little bit too much for her so we had to introduce a night in the stable and a turnout rug for the first time.

The girls are super happy in the field, even after the horrendous weather we’ve had!

Cassie (grey) is getting a lot more confident with people which is lovely to see as she’s quite a timid girl but so lovely and nosey!
Crystal (appy) is also getting better with human contact, I done some work with putting a headcollar on quietly and she’s very easily convinced with food, super excited to bring her to the stables!

A little LMC update‼️

We had a very busy Sunday being on the road for 12 hours picking up the two newest members.
We have Cassie- 2 year old Irish Sports Horse, who will be staying for the foreseeable as she is for me!
We have Crystal- 4 year old Appaloosa, who will be handled and broken in next year and then looking for her next home!

We still have the lovely Tilly in our care who has been enjoying the field life for the last few weeks, she has sold and is leaving us at the end of November😁

That’s all for the time being- unless I go crazy and buy another horse😳

Hi everyone, I have some time at the moment to take on some more freelancing work.

I am fully insured and I am offering my services for all exercise related sessions.

I have years of experience in all different aspects of the equine industry.

I am offering:
•Groundork
Lungeing, long reining, free schooling etc
•Backing services
Initial groundwork and first few ridden sessions or more
•Riding
General flat schooling, showjumping and cross country

Excellent breeding lines and the potential to go far.
Tilly is a lovely girl with tons to give, she has a cracking jump with an unbelievably powerful backend for a small horse as well as beautiful paces on the flat.
She is a sensitive horse, she is spooky and if she isn’t sure of something she will let you know but she will ride through it and will jump for days. She is better around other horses and I believe would make a cracking hunter (she has hunted before).
Completely sound just needs a confident rider.
