Waffle. The kangaroo
I mean cockerpoo 🐾
Oh i just love these boys 💕🙂
Rupert and Ralph. Both always good as gold. Aside from when I get Rupert too excited 🙈 woof woof!
First impressions on the new pawdinary line I am now using for all grooms in salon
Its fantastic! All this lather just from one pump ! Nothing ive tried before bas achieved this whch so little product. I feel like I can get the dogs squeaky squeaky clean! It's pulling and dirt and grime out effortlessly and I feel it's really conditioning too. The coats are drying well and clippers are just gliding through.
I hope you're all as happy as I am. Please let me know your thoughts when your dog has its next pamper!
Its important to me to only invest in what I feel are the best products for your pups and I always appreciate your feedback 😊 let me know ifnyou enjoy the scents, and if you think your pups coats feel silky smooth 💖
I may look into having a small amount available in "at home" sizes for you to purchase if you like to bath your dogs at home in between appointments if the feedback over the next couple of weeks is positive 😊
Dared stop frankies groom for all of 0.352 seconds to have a drink ...🙈
Ive been grooming little scooby for what in a few months will be four years now 😊
When he first came to me for grooms he was really nervous about the whole process. Because he made himself so anxious he was quite reactive. He hated the hairdryer and would try to snap. He also didn't like his tummy, behind or legs being touched. Put it this way.. there's no way when I first started grooming him I'd have put my face anywhere near for a kiss!
But this is why it's so important to stick with a groomer and let them build trust and relationship with your dogs. I really also believe that my one to one quiet setting massively helps. No other noises or distractions 😊 scoobys come so far with his grooms. He sits quietly without a restraint, even enjoys his head scratches when being dried, and trusts me now with the whole grooming process.
Consistency, regular grooms every 5/6 weeks and being allowed to build a relationship and trust with scooby has been what's made this possible. Its not just a job to me, it's really important to me that your dogs feel happy with me and trust.
Well done scooby I'm super proud of you 😊🐾💖
How we do things with puppy's here at pups corner !
Gorgeous little ozzy in for his first puppy introduction. The best thing you can do is start these as soon as toire dogs had all it's vaccinations! Usually around 12 weeks. So if yoi can plan ahead to book in for this it gives your pups the absolute best start
An intro today to get used to the basics of the grooming process and the different noises so that when he is ready for his first full groom the process won't be daunting or scary. As you can see he was a little pro for his first time with the hairdryer 😊 lots of cuddles and praise to make grooming a positive experience for him
Some pups sit all posh and pose for their photos to be taken.....
Then there's buddy who's poor mums probably recieved a total of 2 photos in over 3 years 😂🙈
He's a little sass pot but I love him! Even if he would rather spend the majority of his groom trying to do shake a paw than be scissored 😎
A little clip blow drying Stanley's coat
As you can see I can see right down to the skin and there are no tangles. This is when we can then achieve whatever length / style of trim you desire
Matting starts at the skin!! Therefore you need to ensure you're brushing right down to the root using the line brushing technique ( if you search my page there's lots of videos showing the technique or many available online) with a wire slicker brush, and then probably most importantly going through after with a comb!!
If you can't get a comb through, we as groomers can't get a longer length clipper blade through. It just gets stuck in the hair therfore we have to go short enough to get underneath the matting.
Recommended schedule for curly coated breeds is anything from 4 to maximum 8 weeks. The longer your pups coat the more regularly they need a professional groom.
Winter requires even more coat maintenance.
Please make sure to he brushing every few days at home. Especially if you're putting coats/ fleeces/ harnesses on your dog. They're a recepie for tangles !!
If you struggle and are currently on an 8 week schedule consider a 6 week for winter to keep on top of the tangles. Or many choose an in between bath, condition and brush out appointment at 4 weeks, so that I can help you keep the tangles at bay before they progress to large matts 😊🐾
Find me a more excitable little yorkie than Bronson... I'll wait! 😊❤️
A little stroll down the street to take Bella home after her blow-dry, feet and hygiene trim 😊❤️
Only I would record a live and post it on the wrong page 🤦🏼♀️
Take two!
Few updates folks so please take a moment to watch if you can as I'm away for a week after today!
Thank you 🙏🏼
