I really do hope all my doggy babies enjoy their Christmas gifts this year.
I've been wanting to try my hand at making my own dog treats and my own dogs absolutely love them.
I've written all the ingredients down on the labels along with the use by date as they're baked 😊

As a trainer, who does training walks, when I'm out with my dogs I am so focused on my dogs behaviour, my environment and others around that I hardly ever pass a beat to take photos.
I try my best to snap those cute moments but I'm also a bit OCD about getting the 'perfect' moment.
I've decided going forward, instead of worrying about making sure I'm taking so many photos, which are decent and posting daily (which is already a struggle). Every Friday I'm going to do 'photos of the week' which will show off all my best photos taken of your fur babies. I will also mix it up to make sure all my doggos are showing off at some point!
I want to post more frequently and let owners see how their dogs are enjoying their time out with me, but this helps elevate the pressure of feeling i 'have' to take photos of every session I have 😊

So proud of Flora and how she's adapted to life with a baby/toddler.
Im not exaggerating when I say no other member of my family has ever stroked or gotten close to Flora due to her fear of people.
We were always super conscious that Flora might never take to Noah being he is loud, boistrous and fast but she is so gentle and patient. She has never once shown any concerning behaviour around him and I think the two of them will continue to have a beautiful relationship into her golden years!🥰

A little update on Dexter, the bouncy Visla! His focus and general excitement have much improved, and he's becoming a delight to walk!

It's important whilst they're young to let dogs sit and just take in their environment. Allowing them to have new, positive experiences will build confidence and also help them learn to easily disengage from things that would otherwise entice/interest them. Allowing them to watch people, dogs, wildlife in an everyday scenario will allow them at a later age to withdraw and move on from the situation without becoming too fixated and potentially reacting.

There is a reason we call Flora our nanny dog. She's so gentle with Noah, and today I captured her going checking up on him after he was whining in his sleep. Such a good dog!🥰
