This is a simple message that must be shared far and wide. We must educate people who love to admire beautiful horses. They are not aware that their willingness to be kind and “treat” the horses with food can ultimately kill them.

Education is key. By raising awareness that what may be perceived as a little treat to get the horses to come over is not ok.
Please admire horses from afar. They do not need to be fed. They may have special dietary requirements, allergies, certain foods cannot be tolerated by their digestive systems and they may choke if the treat is of a certain shape or size. It also encourages horses to bite or argue with one another.
