This little lady is Benni 🤩 We have had the pleasure of looking after Benni on a few occasions and it's always so great to see her! She's got such a unique little face which we love, and she is such a loving old girl.

This little lady is Scout, the newest addition to one of our regular families. It's been lovely to get to know her mischievous ways over the past 10 days of looking after her. Shes always really happy to see us when we visit and especially happy for a knee to sit on 🥰 We hope to see her again soon!

❣️ BENJI 🥰
Just about 6 months since our last visits to Benji and he is looking amazing! Benji is diabetic, which for most cats means having insulin injections twice daily. When we first met him, he had been recently diagnosed, now his diabetes under control and we can't believe how well he is doing and how great he looks. Which is a big credit to his owner ✨ We are so happy to see him and to be able to take care of him while his owner is on holiday, worry free.

WHY CHOOSE HOME VISITS OVER A CATTERY ?
▪️SECURITY AND REDUCED STRESS
By nature most cats are territorial animals. Even though cats can and usually are sociable (on their own schedule) they spend a fair amount of time alone. So when cats are taken away from their home and familiar environment and being approached by new people it can lead them to become; unhappy, stressed, inappetent and unable to adjust to their new surroundings.
▪️INCREASED MOOD
If a cat is in their own territory they're going to feel comfortable and safe, meaning they're more likely to react to the new factor (the new person taking care of them).
▪️HOME SECURITY
Of course our main priority is to take care of your pet. However the knowledge that someone will be visiting your home 1-2 times daily will add to the safety of your property. We can open/close curtains/ turn lights on and off etc. This will add security to your home while you're away, something that a cattery doesn't offer.

This weekend we have had the pleasure of looking after this very handsome chap. Benji was recently diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. This means that he has scheduled twice daily feeding that is shortly followed by an injection of insulin, to help regulate/utilise his blood sugar. Benji was very happy for the twice daily visits for some company and of course to be fed.😋

Jack really enjoyed his groom at this morning's visit 😻 just look at that pile of hair that came off him!

Grooming is a good way to bond with your cat, helps to improve muscle tone, stimulates the skin to produce oils, helps your cat to remove large amounts of hair that they would of otherwise ingested which can cause hairballs and it can provide an easy and quick way to perform a physical exam.

This is something we are more than happy to do when visiting your cats 😻

GARFUNKEL 😻 🖤
We have had the best time looking after this gentle giant over the past two weeks. We will miss seeing his little face everyday. He is an older gentleman and is on medication twice daily, this is something we are used to doing being veterinary nurses, but this guy made our job so easy.
