✨ The end of an era ✨
Today we say goodbye to Siobhan our lovely Auxiallary Nurse/Receptionist after 16 years here at Orford Lane Vets! We would like to thank her for all her care and support to the clients and their fur babies over the years and the many memories made. We would also like to thank her for being a great team member. We will all miss you. We wish her the best in her new adventure. Good luck ⭐️

Good morning 🌅

As many of you now know, I have decided to have a change of career after 16 wonderful years at Orford. This week is my final week of making extra special memories with you and your fur babies.

I would like to take this moment to thank every one of you that has walked through the door. I have enjoyed sitting and listening to your stories, comforting your pets when they are nervous, playing with them when they have come in very excited and most of all treating them like one of my own, and having a bond with you lovely people. You have all made me who I am today, and I very much appreciate it 🥰

Ways to help make the 5th November less stressful for your furry friends 🐾🎆

Remember, remember your pets on the 5th of November!

Bonfire Night can be fun for us, but it can be really stressful for our furry friends! Here are some top tips to help keep your pets calm and safe during the fireworks:

🐾 Create a safe space: Set up a cosy, quiet room with their favourite toys and blankets.
🎶 Noise distraction: Play calming music or turn on the TV to help drown out the loud bangs outside.
🐕 Earlier walkies: Take your dog for a walk before dark, before the fireworks start.
🔒 Keep them indoors: Make sure windows, doors, and pet flaps are closed so your pet can't escape if they get spooked.
🐱 Don’t forget about small pets: Move rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small pets indoors or cover their enclosures to muffle the noise.

While we enjoy the fireworks, let's make sure our pets enjoy a peaceful, stress-free night! 🐾
