Easter and Rabbits Don’t Mix 🐰‼️

Rabbits are not “low-maintenance” pets — they need as much care and attention as dogs and cats.

Rabbits have an average lifespan of 10-12 years.

Most children lose interest in a bunny after only a few weeks.

Most rabbits do not like the be held.

Rabbits need regular veterinary care by a certified Exotic Veterinarian. Medical care if a rabbits gets sick is costly.

Rabbits must have an adult as their primary caregiver.

Rabbits can be destructive if not given the proper toys and supervision.

Rabbits require a special diet and care.

Rabbits are the third most frequently surrendered animal at rescues, which are all ow critically full.

Rabbits are social and should live with another rabbit.

This Easter don’t buy or adopt a rabbit for Easter. Instead buy a stuffed toy or a chocolate bunny.
