What a busy weekend at Brookhead RC Show🤩

So proud of all my lovely liveries but a special mention has to go out to our Holly, it was Holly’s first show with Coco and she has done amazingly! We are all so proud of you Holly❤️

We’ve been soooo busy the past few weeks🤩

We’ve been out to Church Farm
We’ve had arena hires at home
We’ve had a shuffle round of the fields
And now we’re bailing with the help of Luca, who has been managing the fields beautifully and working so hard during his summer holidays👏🏻

To say I’m proud of my liveries this week would be an understatement 👏🏻

We’ve had competitors at Arena UK Grassroots finals, British Riding Club Area Regionals and at Hunter Trials👏🏻

We’ve even people qualifying for British Riding Club National Championships in the dressage😳

You have all done absolutely amazing and represented our yard beautifully. Well done guys!

We’ve been quiet on our page whilst I’ve been completing my final placement and graduating as a teacher🙌🏻🎉(Huge thanks to all my liveries for your patience this year❤️)

But here is a snippet of what this crazy lot have been up to….

We’ve been enjoying our ponies at home
We’ve been out competing at all kinds of competitions (we’ve even had some fabulous placings 🙌🏻)
We’ve been having mini group lessons in the big arena
We’ve had a charity day
We’ve been hacking
We’ve had a festival

In the past week or so we’ve been painting/weeding/tidying and giving the yard a good old spruce up and I have to say so far I’m really impressed with how it’s looking🥰

Bring on summer 2023 at Brookhead, we can’t wait to see what it has in store for us all❤️

A massive happy 13th birthday to our fabulous Luca Isherwood.

You will mostly find Luca at the yard driving tractors/manitous or forklifts and sorting out various jobs and completely showing my driving skills up🤣

When I tell you Brookhead could not function the way it does without Luca, I mean it 100%.

Luca have the best day and I know you will be spoilt

Our very own Mae and her beautiful pony Lily❤️

This girl has only been riding for 18 months and has accomplished some amazingly high test scores and is a beautiful little rider❤️

We are all so proud of you Mae❤️

Meet Mae and Lily from Liverpool! Mae prepares for dressage tests by watching YouTube clips and can't live without Le Meiux. Her goal is to progress to Preliminary level and qualify for Trailblazers. Their biggest achievement is a 72% score in 18 months.

First shows for Seana and Tilly, Zac and Jacky, Georgia and Twinkle and Harriet and Dee. You all did absolutely amazing for your first goes❤️

Even the liveries that just had a lazy Sunday like Lenny, we appreciate you all and Brookhead wouldn’t be the same without you❤️

So proud of some of our littlest riders tonight jumping at Kelsall Hill.

Lola, Twinkle and Narla you were phenomenal. It some of the bravest riding I’ve ever seen from Lola on Narla who as you can see is a huge step up from her little Twinkle ❤️

Harriet and Comet, a very new combination with a bright future ahead of them❤️

What a busy bank holiday weekend we’ve had🙌🏻

We’ve had dressage, showing, jumping and cross country.

We’ve been to Smallwood, Bold, Church Farm and competed here at Brookhead.

So absolutely gorgeous ponies and fantastic riders, your Brookhead family are all so proud of you in all you achieve if you go out competing or even if you just enjoy your ponies at home❤️

2nd in the 60’s for Lola and Twinkle💖
1st in the 80’s & 3rd in the 90’s for Harriet and Comet💖

All your hard work is paying off girls and we are all so proud of you🦄💖

We have had a very busy week at Brookhead🙌🏻

Jack and Sat flew round the course up for our arena hire💪🏻

Laura and Breeze went out for a play at Smallwood (anyone who knows Laura knows how excited we all were to see her out jumping confidently🙌🏻)

Chloe and Socks placed 1st in the Novice C&D’s at Worsley Gala Show❤️

Mae and Lily placed 1st in their dressage today with a huge 74%😳👏🏻

Lola and Narla also went out to Bold to have a go at the dressage and came home with a respectable 5th and lots of helpful tips 🦄

Last and by no means least a massive shoutout to our Luca Isherwood, who Brookhead just couldn’t function without! He’s been out and about the past few weekends clearing the fields of poo, doing even more deliveries than usual when I injured myself and harrowing our arenas and fields!

We are so proud of you all and so happy to see you all enjoying yourselves🦄💖

Proud doesn’t quite cut it this weekend🥰

Saturday- lots of my lovely liveries took part in our pole and gridwork clinic and smashed it🙌🏻

Sunday- Super busy day. At Bold Anya and Mae smashing the working hunter classes in the morning bringing home ribbons. Lola and Harriet flying round the jumping with some beautiful rounds qualifying 3 ponies between them for trailblazers and jumping at Aintree🦄🥰

One of our newest residents Zoe spent the day at Croft Top and amazingly has come home 1st Arab, 1st refind/ light FB breeds, Reserve inhand champion, 3rd novice ridden, 4th Arab ridden, 6th amateur ridden. Qualified for champion of champions. What a result🙌🏻

Special mention to Chloe Grimward and baby Socks who found their wings today👏🏻 (anyone who knows Chloe knows this is a one off and won’t happen again anytime soon🤣)

The support everyone has had for eachother whether they show themselves or not has been phenomenal!

Fabulous day at the dressage here at Brookhead with all of our liveries who entered qualifying for Regionals👏🏻

Also super proud of Chloe and baby Socks who went out showing today and won the open M&M class🙌🏻

Every month I’m amazed at how well Team Brookhead Livery do at Brookhead RC Show but this month was something else👏🏻

Lots of new partnerships and novice horses out and enjoying the day, many bringing home a ribbon or two!

Special shout-out to our lovely Skyla and my stable neighbour Jackie for bringing home not only 2 x 3rds and 2 x 1st but also Fun Class Champions on their first ever show🦄❤️
