Higher Farm Livery Centre wishes everyone a lovely Easter weekend .
The Easter bunny 🐰 hopped down to the stables this morning delivering the livery clients treats 😋
Chocolate bunnies, Cake , pasties & nibbles 😍
It's been all go this weekend with some liveries competing and some heading out for a hack in the sunshine 🌞
Fiona & Ben are going to their 1st show of their season , and trust me , Ben has been spruced up , even having a blow dry 😁. His white bits are sparkling white & he looks fabulous !! Good luck today Fi 🥰
Jess and her adorable Flynn had fun out on their hack.
Dad ( Bob) just couldn't resist a cuddle with Flynn , he's got a super soft spot for him 🥰

As we move in the competition season, some of my riding clients/livery have continued with their winter training and with great success .
Here is Kirsty with her pretty native flaxen all-rounder ( by the way - he is a boy 🤭)
Training clinic, jumping solid fences , stepping up to 90cm . Jumping 1st solid corner fence confidently.
Taking 2nd place Arena Eventing at Church Farm
Taking BOTH classes Arena Eventing at Aintree
Kirsty & Perrry went on their 1st hunt and did their 1st Endurance of the season .
Also taking 2nd place AE at Bold Heath Equestrian Centre which was a qualifier for Aston le Walls, Northamptonshire.
Kirsty started the Easter weekend with a trip round Somerford Park farm ride , followed with well deserved cake & tea .
Fantastic results Kirsty , keep going 👏 💪 .

Happy Birthday ............I want to take this opportunity to wish this lovely , talented young lady, Tegan Burrows, one of my amazing Dressage pupils a very very Happy 16th Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁
I have been teaching/coaching Tegan & her amazing Johnny Diamonds for a few years now .
The start of 2024 has got off to another great start with them recently winning Novice 28 at Foxes Equestrian and qualifying for Traiblazers Championship again . Followed by winning Novice 28 & Elemtary 42 in great style at Bold Heath Equestrian Centre. Well done Tegan 👏

Wishing everyone a Very Happy New Year .
As 2023 came to a close we held our yearly mulled wine, mince pie & prosecco morning . This year it was hosted by Poppy , my amazing daughter, as I had the dreaded flu bug . Poppy did a fantastic job, thank you ❤️.
Thank you to everyone who attended and thank you to all who have generously donated to our memorial Christmas tree . Our charity this year is The Donkey Sanctuary 🫏 💕

On the 5th day of Christmas 🌲 🎅, I give you Kirsty and her beautiful handsome 'Perry' 🌟❤️ aka ..........'Renvag Paparazzi'
I am happy to report that there is more good news that Kirsty & Perry recently qualified for the Harry Hall One Club ACE Championships in the 80cm class at Church Farm . ( British Eventing ) 🏆✨️
The Championships will be held next year, at the end of May 24 at Aintree International Equestrian Centre.
For me as an instructor/Coach , it has been a pleasure to see Kirsty & Perry working hard to develop their flatwork skills , which is now benefiting the jump work . The time and commitment is paying off 🙌
Really well done Kirsty and here's to a promising 2024 . Keep up the good work 👌

On the 3rd day of Christmas 🌲..........another amazing win for my pupil Tegan Burrrows, on her beautiful horse 'Jonny Diamonds' ❤️ .
Last week at Stars 🌟 Champions of Champions , held at Aintree International, Tegan won the Junior Equitation class 👏 🌟🏆out of 58, a Brilliant performance !!
Tegan also came 5th Riding Club Horse, 5th Ridden Cob class and 8th overall Supreme 👌
There was an interview on TV too 😁
It is a delight to see this truly lovely, talented young lady continue to achieve & completing another truly successful competition year . Here's to 2024 !!

Higher farm recently held a Macmillan Coffee Morning which raised an impressive £215 🥰 for a very important cause .

A huge 'Thank you ' to everyone who supported and donated .
Lots of cakes to choose from , tea, coffee, juices and bubbles !!
Debbie's homemade lemon and fruit cake went down really well too 😋
Our stand up bingo winner was Jenna and Alison won the 'Guess the caterpillar' competition . Both winning a bottle of prosecco 🍾
It was lovely to see our newest member , baby Noah , new mummy Steph & new Nanna Rosemarie 💕 along with visits from old clients .
Once again , massive thank you ❤️xx

It's been a very busy and successful time for my little pupil Lacey and her fabulous pony 'Helka' 💖
Lacey recently won a showjumping lesson with GB Olympian 'Geoff Billington ' at Aintree & had a great time picking up some top tips !!

At the weekend , Lacey had two showjumping wins 🏆 in the 50 & 60 cm at Bold Heath Equestrian Centre. 👏
Laceys other wins & rosettes have come from The Carnival of Dressage at Aintree coming 4th overall - well done
Kelsall Hill first 🏆 place , showjumping
Dressage wins at Bold Heath .
It has been brilliant to see Laceys progress this year . Her hard work and commitment to learning ,along with a good dose of daily fun bringing the well deserved results 😁

Back in work today with the arena having a maintenance harrow. Blessed to have such superb drainage !!

I am delighted to report that Tegan Burrows and her beautiful Mr Johnny Diamonds won the Novice 30 Trailblazers Championship last week .
Competing at Addington Equestrian Centre, over a number of days Tegan is now National Champion.
A fantastic result and looking fabulous .
Well done to team Tegan mum & dad too x
I am delighted for Tegan , it is a win truly deserved . There is a very very bright future ahead for this talented young lady. It is always a pleasure to teach Tegan & JD and see their continuing development xx

Well done and congratulations to Phoebe on securing a place at Reasheath Agricultural College starting in September .
It is always a pleasure to teach / coach this lively young lady . Phoebe is genuine , keen , dedicated and works hard . Reasheath will gain a gem of a student xx all the very best 🥰

There has been lots of great riding going on recently and our liveries are always happy to see my little super champ, Lacey & the adorable Helka when they come for a lesson xx

Here is my youngest pupil Lacey Rayne and her adorable pony 'Helka'
Part 3..................
I started to teach Lacey in January 2022 and we started on the lead rein . Since then it has been a remarkable journey for this adorable partnership.
This little girl and her amazing pony 'Helka' are truly living the dream .
I am super proud of her commitment , practice & dedication at such a young age .
Lacey competes regularly and successfully Dressage BD, Showjumping and Riding Club Showing .
Recently, Lacey has been asked to be a Blue-chip feed Brand Ambassador 🙌👌💕, made the front cover of Northern Horse and currently has over 1200 Instagram followers........wow !!
It was a pleasure to support Lacey last week at Cockshot Dressage Competition , Croft .
There were no junior classes so she was in and up against the adults - little Lacey & Helka still delivered 👏 achieving 4th place in both classes .
Looking forward to a fun filled , successful summer season .

Tegan Burrows & her beautiful horse ' Johnny Diamonds'
It has been a pleasure to see the progress, dedication , commitment of this young partnership over the last few years .
The start of this season is no exception ......

Dressage in April - Qualfying in style at Foxes Competition venue for the Dressage Trailblazers Finals in August , at Addington Manor 🌟🙌. Not one, but two finals , Prelim and Novice ❤️
Tegan qualified with some fantastic scores 76.9% Prelim coming 2nd place followed by 75.22% Novice 24 and winning the class 🥇🏆🌟 .
Super proud to see some 8's & 9's on the score sheet 👏

An outing to Bridgewater Riding Club warm up show , early April , brought more rosettes . Great results in every class plus two class champion sashes and one ring reserve sash.
Last weeks outing to Bridgewater Club show didn't disappointed with yet more red rosettes , 1st place success 🥇 👍 🌟
What a start to the season for Tegan & JD bring on the summer season !!
Success is the result of dedication and hard work . Super proud of this young lady and all she has achieved . A promising future star xx

As promised from our last posting I am happy to update on just a few of my amazing clients that I teach/coach and their recent competition successes !! 🌟
Part 1.........

First up is Estreja and her beautiful new horse 'Cruise' .
After a training session at home, 'Higher Farm Livery Centre', there has been no stopping Estreja.
Her first competition was last week at Northcote Stud & Competition Centre, Blackburn.
A great performance produced a great double clear , with some fantastic pictures to prove.
Well done Estreja , well deserved 🙌keep going you are on your way

A big 'Thank you ' once again to everyone who donated to our Higher Farm ,Easter Charity fundraiser 🐥🐇🐣
Name the bunny was won by Amy , winning £25 and a cuddly toy, kindly donated by Mr & Mrs Astell .
Our Christmas fundraising effort raised £300 which was split between Riders Mind & The Donkey Sanctuary - well done everyone ♥️

It was really good to have much needed blue skies and sunshine this morning ...........
Walking onto the yard, one lucky, and very spoiled resident 'Ollie' was happily enjoying his morning treat - apples from his very own basket 🧺 love it 💕
After a short spell away we have recently welcomed home little 'Ted'. Im sure youll agree he is an adorable cutie 💓
As an instructor I feel very lucky to teach / Coach some amazing riders and their lovely horses . I've included a few pictures of some them working well on their lessons ...........more to follow .

At last I can say how proud and delighted I am to have British Horse Society Approval !!

It has been a project on my to do list for a while, so over Summer, I was determined to get started and see it through.
I am thankful every day for the continued support of my family, friends, and my lovely livery clients ❤️

Well it's been a productive and successful week at Higher Farm, and the bonus is the sun has been shining 🌞
Last Sunday saw Ellie and her beautiful new horse 'Storm' compete in their 1st in hand showing competition , coming home with a 3rd & 4th rosette. We'll done to you both.
Peter's back from 🇺🇲 and has been busy mowing, painting & general maintenance 💕
Clients Cordellia & Claire took advantage of the glorious weather and had a great time hacking out.
Yesterday , and to end the week , saw Heather & Kieffer winning both of their Dressage classes . The hard work , patience & perseverance has started to pay off - well done & well deserved xx
