We are expecting roadworks to begin on Elizabeth Drive from Tuesday 11th February for 6 days.

We are closed on Tuesday, and so would like to remind everyone to not attend the centre. We will issue a further post once we are fully aware of the access. Rest assured we will be here caring for the cats still! 😻

We recently received this wonderful update from the adopter of two cats who spent a little time at our centre!

"Hi, just wanted to give you an update on Dexter and Lillie (previously Jack and Jill)...

I picked them up on 18th January 2024, so it's our 1 year gotcha day this Saturday. They have settled in so well, feels like I've always had them. They are so good, well behaved, playful and cuddly. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much 💖 "

Updates such as these really do bring a smile to our faces, it shows us that the work we are doing really makes all the difference in helping cats in need find a new home! 🏡

Dixie is an older lady at 17 years of age on the lookout for a new home after her previous owner sadly passed away. She arrived at the centre in November 2024.

She is an affectionate, chatty girl that enjoys having company once she’s got to know you😸.

Unfortunately, due to her elder age, cats like Dixie are often overlooked for younger cats😿.

Pentagon is an older lady at 8 years of age. She arrived in our care back in October after a new baby joined the household and this unfortunately unsettled her😿.

She is a quieter girl who would benefit from an understanding owner that can allow her time to settle and adjust into a new home environment🏡. She does enjoy people company, so you may see benefits from sitting and reading to her📖, once she has had time to acclimatise to her new initial room.

Pentagon does have a grade 5 heart murmur, when having a scan it was seen she does have a mild thickening of the mitral valve. At present time this doesn’t require any treatment but will likely require scans in future to monitor. This is something that can be discussed with a vet🩺.
