Rixton dog school Classes held in Grappenhall & Sutton Weaver. We use tried & tested, kind, positive & effective methods including clicker training and lure & reward.

Training your dog should be fun and enjoyable and here at Rixton Dog School we will teach you how reward based training can help you have a happy and good relationship with your dog. At Rixton Dog School we only use tried and tested, kind, positive and effective methods, which include clicker training and lure & reward. Most classes are 50 minutes and run for 5 weeks. On successful completion of t

he course you will be rewarded with a certificate and a rosette, celebrating your achievements and also have your photo taken with your dog, which we would like to have posted on our website (with your permission of course). All classes are run by our highly qualified professional trainers. Our training sessions are fully insured and conducted in a safe, friendly and relaxed manner. Our purposely adapted indoor training centre, complete with safety flooring, plus our secure, fenced and laid to turf, outside training area, are used for dog training purposes only. There is also ample parking space within the fenced and gated compound. Our classes are kept small so that you and your dog are guaranteed to get as much help as you need. You will also receive a free, comprehensive starter pack to assist you with the well-being and training of your dog in between attending our classes. We have classes on most days, evenings and weekends, so there should be a day and a time to best suit your needs. Debra is also qualified companion animal behaviourist, so please get in touch for help with your dog or cat - vet referral needed for cases taken on.

Hi all! I hope you’re well and all set for a fun bank holiday weekend (the last before Christmas as Sue keeps reminding me 😭)
It’s not often I post things like this, but Cheshire Sighthound Rescue is phenomenal and what they’re doing for Aseel, Esi & Roma (and other rescue dogs who may be too frightened for kennels) is amazingly kind.
If you could please donate even £1, it would go towards this amazing project (which those of you who attend our classes at Early Paws will see when you’re next with us!) it would be very much appreciated. The ‘go fund’ link is in the shared post for those able to donate. For those not, if you could share the post that too would be awesome.

Sue and I are thrilled to say we’ve received our second award of the year ‘Best Dog Trainer & Behaviourist in the North West’! 🏆

Running a business is super hard work and, at times, scarily overwhelming from a workload point of view & occasional stresses from the negativity of people out to cause trouble. We’ve also had a few location changes in the last 12 months after sadly losing our awesome venue of over a decade, but we’re now settled VERY happily at Early Paws and St Wilfs. 🐾

The award is amazing to receive but the support our awesome clients give us means so much more. Thank you so much for entrusting us with your canine companions education & for your continued support.
