Did you know, January is walk your dog month
For the rest of this month we are going to focus on activities you can do outside, tips for the cold weather, local dog fields to hire and our staff pets are going to help!

Copper and Lola who are owned by our student veterinary nurse Leah recently enjoyed going to a secure dog field located in Warrington. When looking for a secure dog field to hire ensure it is fully enclosed and has fences that are large enough your dog cant jump over them!

Our practice is taking part in the Antibiotic Amnesty this
November.
What to do if you have leftover or unused antibiotics:
o Return them to your vet practice for safe disposal
o Inappropriate disposal of unused antibiotics could contribute
to antimicrobial resistance and pollute the environment through
waterways, affecting our wildlife
o Don’t ever give your pet, or any pet for which they haven’t
been prescribed, left-over or out of date antibiotics. Using
antibiotics when not needed could risk side effects, delay an
accurate diagnosis for your pet, mean that your pet’s condition
may not be treatable, and contributes to antimicrobial
resistance

🩺 Virtual Nurse Clinics 💻

We are pleased to announce that from this month we will be offering virtual nurse clinics across all of our branches!

These clinics provide a triage service for clients who are not sure if a vet appointment is needed. One of our Registered Veterinary Nurses will carry out the call and discuss your concerns.
We can also use these appointments to check on patients with chronic conditions or those who have transport limitations or with pets who don't like the vets.
