🩶MAGGIE🩶 is all ready to go off on her holidays 🌊☀️🍟🐟

Her owners wanted to give her a little pamper before heading off on their staycation.

Maggie had our walk & groom package, so we went for a trot first before heading to the salon.

As Maggie is a regular member of .quirky.k9 crew, we gave her a free upgrade to the shampoo, and you can really tell the difference! When she left the salon, she really felt like the velveteen rabbit 🐰 ❤️

I always enjoy having this girl in the salon, she cracks me up constantly and always gives me lots of cuddles & love. As well as being an absolute princess at being groomed 👸👑 that’s when she’s not being a worm 🤪🪱

Obsessed with this gal 😍 such a character 🤭 the sweetest snuggler with a mahoosive tongue for kisses 😘

Nellie came for a bath, mud spa deshedding treatment, dry & pawdicure. Using Peanut & Pickle de-shedding mud, we got sooooo much hair off her, even I was shocked - a massive big handful 😳🤯😱😲

Although better off in the bin at the salon, than rolling around her house!! Followed by two rounds of shampoo & a conditioner we had lots of cuddles and snogs on the table 🤭🥰

She was also an absolute angel for getting her nails clipped and filed too! Thank you for visiting me gorgeous girl, you were an absolute pleasure to have in 😍 and thank you to our awesome friend Whiskey for passing on our details ❤️😍

I was so excited to meet baby Rudi’s older sister when she came in for a bath & blow dry 🥰 she is absolutely amazing 🤩 a pro at being groomed!

I Loved spending time with you sweet girl, and I can’t wait to see you in a few weeks for your full groom ✂️🛁

It was all a bit too tiring being pampered for little Mister Sleepyhead 🧡RUDI🧡

It was great to see this gorgeous little chap back in for his next puppy session 🥰

We spent some more time today doing some desensitisation work on his feet (ready for nail clipping - he did let me take the very tips off a few of his nails 🌟) and getting him more used to the dryers.

As you can see, he wasn’t phased in the slightest! And actually nodded off at a few points 😴🥱💤

I introduced him to different brushes, combs, nail clippers & grinders, trimmers and clippers to get him used to the sight, sounds and sensations of these tools around and on his body. Some dogs are not keen on the vibration tools, but Rudi took it all in his stride!

So if you’d like a calm dog like Rudi when they come to the groomers, then feel free to pop me a DM to book in.

I can also adapt the puppy intro sessions for rescue dogs or older pups who need a bit more work on acclimatisation.

This pupper is surely becoming my fave dog to groom 🥰 it’s the second time she’s been in the salon & we always have the best time together. Lots of love and cuddles 🥰

She was in for a full groom, so after a nice long massage & clean in the tub, it was time to fluff dry & clip her coat!

Her owners like to keep long, to have the teddy bear look 🤩 she’s definitely a teddy I’d like to cuddle with 🤩😍

🧡CHESTER🧡 What a little angel this lad is 🥰

First he had a good run around on a group walk with the rest of the The Quirky K9 crew, especially his bestie Pépè (another ginger ninja!) 🧡

Then he joined me in the salon for his pamper session! Such a good boy throughout, knowing exactly what to do at each stage 🥰 Such a cutie 😊

I think you’ll agree that he looks like a certain bear who enjoys marmalade sandwiches from Peru 🥪🐻🤠🧸🇵🇪

As a child I absolutely loved Red Setters & always wanted to have hair as good as them 🤭 so much, that I was a Red head for about 15 years 🤪

Imagine my delight to have these two gorgeous boys in the salon 😍🥰

Cooper (& Ziggy - keep your eyes peeled for his pics!) was an absolute superstar, and a credit to his owners, despite not having been to the groomers before.

He loved his head, neck & chest massage - you can see him just melting into my hands and closing his eyes 🤭🥰

After his bath & conditioning treatment, I dried him off & gave his ears, chest & toes a little scissor tidy.

🧡RUDI🧡

This Pawjuss boy came in for his second puppy intro session this week & absolutely smashed it! You could just tell how much confidence he’s gained in a short week! 😍

He had a little bath and let me give him a good scrub, followed by obligatory after bath zoomies! 💨

Not a fan of the hair dryer to start with, but once he realised it wasn’t as scary as he initially thought, he rested his chin & fell asleep on my arm so I could dry him off 🥰

He liked the comb, especially as it came with lots of treats!!

Can’t wait to see you next week beautiful boy! 🧡🧡

🤎OTIS🖤 You utter cutie 🥰

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m obsessed with dachshunds! I have my own long hair mini & a rescue daxie x Sheltie mix from .

So when Otis got booked in for a handstrip, I was beyond excited 🤩🤩🤩 We’d love to have a little wire dashie at some point (hopefully in the not too distant future!)

He was a proper sweetheart, giving lots of kisses and cuddles throughout the groom.

I got so much hair off him, which I’m sure will make him feel better in this heat! Although unfortunately we ran out of time for me to satisfy my perfectionist tendencies 🥹

💚 Luigi 💚

This little cutie came in for a good soak and tidy up. Using Lavender & Bergamot Purple shampoo, alongside the brightening facial, this neutralised some of the yellow tones in his coat and bring the whiteness back out.

He loved getting dried, especially when it meant tickles on his b***y 🍑🤭

After taking some of the length off his body for the summer with the clippers & tidying up his face, he was ready to go save Princess Peach 👑🍑

Bella Bella! She is a 10 year old Bichon little princess 👑 🤍

The owner likes to keep her coat short, so it’s easier to manage - especially during this warm weather!

I bathed her in Lavender & Bergamot Purple Shampoo & gave the Marshmallow Facial treatment to brighten the coat, neutralising the yellow tones. Finishing off with a Palma Violet spritz!

Then she was treated to our little massage session, as well as lots of cuddles during her hair cut 💇‍♀️

After the groom we had a little walk back to the house, ready for her owner to check out her new look!

Little Teddy, you were an absolute joy from start to finish 😍❤️🥰 such a sweetheart ☺️ am so looking forward to having you back in for your next groom ✂️🛁💆 such a pro & not phased by anything.

Lots of cuddles and kisses, as well as time for a quick stretch yoga session on the table 🧘I used Strawberry & Vanilla 🍓🍨 and he left smelling like summer! 😎

If the dog is getting sick of the kids being off school, why not get them booked in for a groom & walk package, and get them out of the house for a few hours R&R!

We will come and collect them from your house, and return them smelling of lemon sherbet or palma violets! (or doggy friendly Lynx Africa if that’s more your thing) The choice is yours!
