My story is much like the previous owner Mel’s in that I’ve been a customer for about 15 years now, firstly when Stuart was owner and then some 9 years ago when Mel took the reins. She has been a fountain of knowledge to me as a customer and also during the handover as she shared all her insights. (Don’t worry she didn’t tell me absolutely everything about each and everyone of hear customers!!)

m so excited to take up the next part of the AK journey and hope I can prove to be as friendly and (in time!) knowledgable as those before me. There are some exciting plans ahead, but please bear with me before you see any changes - will be finding my feet for a few weeks first! Stay tuned to updates but in the meantime I hope you can all continue to support this much needed local pet supplies business.

We will be opening on limited hours over Christmas, Delivery’s from suppliers will be extremely limited over the festive period as some companies shut down, please take this into consideration when getting your dogs food.
