Here it is! 🥳 Thank you to everyone for your kind reviews, I’m grateful for each and everyone of you for trusting me with your beloved pets and being a super important part of my growing business. Well done Hannah Brittan!!
The weather came through for us today 🌞
It was so lovely to be back with the pack after a short time off. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of my wonderful clients for being so patient and understanding last week.
Dogs are the best therapy 🐶
💫 ROSIE 💫
Since Bark & Beyond began, Rosie has been my little solo adventure buddy as she’s not the biggest fan of dogs in her space.
Her owners have been putting in lots of work carefully socialising her around more dogs and last week we agreed we would try and pair her up with some of our more respectful members.
This week she walked wonderfully with my boy, who understood how to walk with Rosie without getting too much in her space.
She then joined me and Otis, initially Otis wanted to do the usual sniffy greeting but Rosie told him off and he immediately gave her space for the rest of the walk.
Super proud of Rosie 💜
Yesterday’s walk was yet another milestone for Dale!
Dale has been so good on his paired walks the last couple of weeks showing all the signs of being happy around those he’s walked with and encountered on our walks.
Yesterday we decided it was time to allow Dale a bit of safe, of lead play up at the secure field with a small group. And boy did he come out of his shell!
Dale joined Albie, Zara, Betty & Mungo who were all super excited to have a newbie join them! 💜
Yesterday the pups weren’t too enthusiastic about the wet weather so we decided to have a race!
Guess I lost 🤦🏼♀️
Today Poacher began his journey back into our pack walks 🥰
Poacher was previously part of our group but took some time out to focus further on solo socialisation before having time off to recover from being neutered.
This morning he had a little outing on a paired walk with Bob, to make sure he’s ready to come back and join the others after a long time off.
Needless to say, it’s like he was never away and I’m so excited to see him back playing with the pack from next week!
We hope all our pooches (and their hoomans) had a wonderful Christmas.
Albie very much enjoyed ripping open his presents (despite the very girly wrapping paper)
We would love to see some festive, furry face photos if you’d like to share them in the comments! 💜
Ralph, Zara, Eddie, Bob & Mungo had a great time playing today. 🐶
A few of them were kept with trailing leads just incase they decided to have selective hearing 😂 but they all behaved wonderfully. 🥰
Some great (mostly) loose leash walking by Ozzy today.
Over the past few weeks me and Ozzy’s owner have been working consistently to teach him that walks are much more fun when the lead is slack.
He is now walking much more calmly using a collar rather than his harness and is understanding that as soon as there is tension in the leash it means we can’t get to where he wants to go and we may even have to start moving in the opposite direction.
Although it’s not just being out on lead where the training begins, we’re also working on making sure Ozzy knows that the lead doesn’t go on until he’s calm and all 4 paws are on the ground along with making sure he’s calm before being allowed to walk out the door.
Well done Ozzy, you’re a fast learner and your progress is outstanding 🥰
The best kind of relaxation;
✔️ Quiet countryside
✔️A bit of sunshine
✔️Waggy tails
Albie, Bella, Betty and Zara are definitely big fans of a snow day ❄️
🌟 Group availibility 🌟
We currently have availability for new pooches to join our pack walks on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
These sessions take place at Lobbington farm fields and as you can see there is plenty to explore!
We only have a couple of spaces for each day so enquire soon to avoid disappointment.
