Today Poacher began his journey back into our pack walks 🥰
Poacher was previously part of our group but took some time out to focus further on solo socialisation before having time off to recover from being neutered.
This morning he had a little outing on a paired walk with Bob, to make sure he’s ready to come back and join the others after a long time off.
Needless to say, it’s like he was never away and I’m so excited to see him back playing with the pack from next week!
We hope all our pooches (and their hoomans) had a wonderful Christmas.
Albie very much enjoyed ripping open his presents (despite the very girly wrapping paper)
We would love to see some festive, furry face photos if you’d like to share them in the comments! 💜
Ralph, Zara, Eddie, Bob & Mungo had a great time playing today. 🐶
A few of them were kept with trailing leads just incase they decided to have selective hearing 😂 but they all behaved wonderfully. 🥰
Some great (mostly) loose leash walking by Ozzy today.
Over the past few weeks me and Ozzy’s owner have been working consistently to teach him that walks are much more fun when the lead is slack.
He is now walking much more calmly using a collar rather than his harness and is understanding that as soon as there is tension in the leash it means we can’t get to where he wants to go and we may even have to start moving in the opposite direction.
Although it’s not just being out on lead where the training begins, we’re also working on making sure Ozzy knows that the lead doesn’t go on until he’s calm and all 4 paws are on the ground along with making sure he’s calm before being allowed to walk out the door.
Well done Ozzy, you’re a fast learner and your progress is outstanding 🥰
The best kind of relaxation;
✔️ Quiet countryside
✔️A bit of sunshine
✔️Waggy tails
Albie, Bella, Betty and Zara are definitely big fans of a snow day ❄️
🌟 Group availibility 🌟
We currently have availability for new pooches to join our pack walks on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
These sessions take place at Lobbington farm fields and as you can see there is plenty to explore!
We only have a couple of spaces for each day so enquire soon to avoid disappointment.

Some nice, loose lead walking from Ben this morning. 🌟
Teaching Ben to walk nicely without pulling has been a challenge as he’s not remotely interested in food or toy rewards but here’s proof that it can be done.
With hard work, determination and consistency he has started to take a slower pace and take time to enjoy the smells he used to bolt and drag us towards.
His owner has been carrying on using the tips we’ve discussed to ensure Ben is getting the same message and reduce any confusion.
It’s still very much a work in progress but this is a huge milestone 🥰
It’s not long now until little Bob is allowed out to explore the big, bad world!
This morning Bobs owner asked me to start working on lead walking in preparation.
We started off with having a good sniff of his harness before he was happy to wear it, he got lots of praise and a little treat for being so good at putting it on.
We then did the same with his lead. Sometimes we can forget how scary it must be for a tiny creature to have all these new things sprung on them but Bob did amazing as always!
I let Bob take the lead (excuse the pun) and he decided where we were going to explore in the garden.
As you can see he took to it like a duck to water and walked very nicely he got lots more praise and some treats for such good behaviour.
Well done Bob, your humans are clearly doing a superb job and getting you off on the best start, I’m so excited to start exploring with you 🥰
