Another beautiful day spent with your wonderful fur babies 🥰

This morning Dale, Ralph, Eddie, Miska, Twizzle, Wanda & Kayla enjoyed the nice breeze whilst whizzing round the field exploring the smells hidden in the long grass.

Lunchtime saw Benji join us for his paired stroll with Albie where he had his nose in every hedge he could find!

After Benji was safely home, Rosie joined Otis for her paired walk where they again took it in turns in the hedgerows trying to find what little animals were rustling around inside.

This afternoon brought us 2 home visits, firstly to Fifi, Finn, Buddy & Liana who were happy to have some midday cuddles and some attempts at sun bathing (before Ginnie rudely told them it was too hot to be doing that!) 😂

Finally to Bonez & Nova’s house, where they sat nicely for treats (little does Bonez suspect his medications hidden inside) and a game of finding the hidden treats in the garden, encouraging them to use those powerful noses to get their reward! 🥰

I think it’s fair to say the pups were thrilled to be allowed some toys back now it’s cooled down again! ⛅️

This morning Betty, Zara, Dale, Mungo, Ozzy & Hector joined us for the group session. 🐶

Lunchtime paired stroll for Benji, getting his nose stuck into some seriously good smells in the long grass! 🌳

Once Benji was nicely worn out it was time for Fifi, Liana, Finn, Riot & Wilson to enjoy some play time in the sun. Wilson rocked the pink towel to dry off from the pool play! 💦

We ended the day with Twizzle & Wanda who were super happy zooming across the fields with Albie seeing who can get to the ball first! 🥎

🐾✨ Reintroducing Myself: The Heart Behind the Lead ✨🐾

I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself for those of you that still don’t know much about me and share the story behind my dog walking business. Because this journey has truly been a long time coming, and it’s close to my heart. 💛

Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a deep love for animals (especially dogs. 🐶) At just 14, I began studying Animal Care one day a week through school and by 16 I was fully immersed in an Extended Diploma in Animal Management. During this time, I gained hands-on experience at a doggy daycare and walking business… and I completely fell in love with it. There’s just something about the pure joy and unconditional love of dogs that’s impossible to match.

After finishing my studies, I was lucky enough to continue working with dogs two days a week. But to support myself, I also worked five days a week as a chef in a busy pub. 🧑‍🍳 Juggling both became overwhelming, and as hard as it was, I made the difficult decision to leave the dogs behind and focus on the pub job as it was my main income and I needed stability.

What I thought would be temporary turned into 11 years. During that time, I had two beautiful children and focused on giving them the security they needed. But the dream of working with dogs never left me. 🐾

Then one day, everything changed. Once both of my children started school, I knew it was now or never. That fire in me was still burning and I knew it was finally time to follow my heart and return to where I truly belonged: working with your furry family members. 🐕💖

So here I am, running my own dog walking business, doing what I love every single day. Whether it’s long walks, wagging tails, or muddy paws, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Thank you for all the support so far—here’s to new adventures and happy paws! 🐶🚶‍♀️

Well the hot weather may have prevented the walks today, but it certainly didn’t dampen the fun!

We did lots of enrichment games during our home visits, the puzzle feeder was definitely a huge hit (or maybe it was the sprats hidden inside) 😂

There was a lot of confusion as to why I was in their gardens and not taking them away on a lead, but I’m hoping we made up for it 😂

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ⚠️

Due to the extremely high temperatures over the next few days, I’ve made the decision to change to home visits only.

We will do the usual toilet break and stick with indoor enrichment instead.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however the safety of your pups is the most important thing to me.

As you all know, pups with no owners at home will take priority.

Hector was extremely unimpressed today when he found out he wasn’t allowed a frisbee or a ball due to the heat!

Instead he decided to flip the water bowl and play with that in protest 😂
