For someone wanting to bring her under saddle she be a superb riding horse and I’m sure she would love this. Had a foal this year who has now been weaned. Lives out year round as part of a mixed herd, easy to keep. 6 panel n/n. Sold from the field before I send her off for backing.

Not all mares are natural mothers, some are fairly useless and tolerate their foals. Some take to it so well they set the bar high for the rest. This is Little Jewel Thief (Ruby) she had her first filly this year and has been an exceptional mum, also happy sharing duties keeping watch over another filly who belongs to GTS Yellowgypsyrose. Ruby has in my eyes been faultless as a first time mum and I am incredibly proud of her.

It’s weaning time for some of the older foals - everyone is calm and happy, this is a great start. I wean them slowly over a few days so that the mares and foals can adjust to separation.
