Next Saturday we meet for our first social walk.

Who’s it for?

🐶 Dogs who are reactive or overexcited while seeing other dogs or people.
👥 Owners who don’t feel confident enough to allow dogs to interact with each other on or off-lead.
🐶 Dogs who aren’t socially savvy and put themselves into awkward situations. With the best intentions!
🐶 Dogs who are stress around dogs.

The idea behind those walks is to make dogs and their owners to feel safe and comfortable around other dogs and people while learning what dogs are saying to us.

And they talk to us more than you’d think!

We’ll do that walking on-lead in a public space so you can learn how to deal with real-life situations.

Walk will take around 60-90 minutes depending on the group.

The price is: £25 / dog.

There are limited spaces.

Marta is a dedicated dog trainer with over seven years of experience. She specializes in working with fearful and reactive dogs, helping them overcome challenges and thrive. In her training sessions she blends obedience skills with broad understanding of dogs emotions & body language to create better understating between dogs and their owners.

She’s training and competing in gundog tests with her Labrador Retriever and uses this knowledge in daily life working with retrievers and other hunting breeds; with a Jack Russell she competed in Obedience and Rally-O.

I have been working for K9 Club since April 2018. I am a busy mum of four and have a beautiful boxer called Joey, he loves his walks. I absolutely love my job. I work with all kinds of dogs and they all have amazing characters and personalities.

I am incredibly lucky to work for K9 Club, we have all become a close family and share a passion for animals and four-legged friends. I completed my Dog Training College programme in March 2023. I am now able to offer all aspects of training.

My passion is working with misunderstood dogs that suffer with aggression, anxiety, fear, amongst other issues. I love being able to help them live a good life and teaching them how to be loved, and to love in return.

Meet Kata! Kata has been with us for over 2 years now! Kata is our specialist When it comes to all things German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois! Kata runs regular group classes for puppies and adult dogs. From obedience classes to specialist classes like Mantrailing and bitework! I started learning how to train dogs in 2005 at the Hajdu-Bihar branch of the Hungarian Kennel Club. Initially, I trained dogs for obedience tests before moving on to training for IPO (tracking, obedience, and protection). Since then I have been seriously involved in dog training, and learnt how to create strong bonds between dogs and their owners.

In addition to training dogs myself, I have organised owners' training courses for the Hajdu-Bihar branch of the Hungarian Kennel Club. I also underwent specialised training to become a member of DEKOM (Debrecen Medical University Special Rescue Team)

Those walks are led by an experienced trainer and depending on your dogs needs they could:

- Help with your current training programme,
- Teach real life obedience skills,
- be a creative walk with learning new fun tricks,
- be both mental and physical stimulation for dogs with higher needs.

- have a busy schedule and want to progress your training,

Scent Workshop

We are looking at running a Scent Workshop again soon! Does your dog love to sniff? Then this is the course for you! Nose work is so important and is part of their natural instincts. Scent detection sessions will teach your dog to identify and indicate on a scent. We will do this in different environments throughout the course. It’s a very low impact exercise that stimulates and is very mentally rewarding. This will be a 5 week course and we have 3 spaces on it. We will introduce your dog to a scent Learn how to read a behaviour change When to deliver the reward Teach an indication Teach a systematic search patten Search different locations for scent. Indoor, outdoor and people. It’s a great course for dog and handler! Any level of dog and owner welcome! The course is £250 for the 5 week course. Drop us a message if you would like to book on.
