🥇 MEDIUM GOLD REGIONAL CHAMPIONS 🥇

Ruby and Kracka absolutely smashed it today at Kelsall Hill Regional Championships scoring over 73% with a beautiful test ❤️

This is Kracka’s 9th BD Title, but his first one in the Gold Section 🥇

I cannot explain how proud I am of this amazing stallion, he’s still super busy with stud work as he’s had a crazy number of mares this season (Thank you mare owners), but comes out at venue he’s never been to before like an absolute pro!! He really is a legend ⭐️

Ruby has shown dedication way beyond her years, and I’m so grateful to the amazing team we have!! Huge thank you to Gareth, Rebecca, Ruby, Carl, Aron, Nikita and VT Vets 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Also if collections can be booked the day BEFORE one is needed this will be extremely appreciated. It helps tremendously with booking collections with VT Vets and also to organise Kracka’s training session time.

Kracka and Ruby had their first ever competition together today at Onley and they absolutely smashed it!!

Just under 80% in M61 and just under 75% in M75 🥳 They were even awarded a 10 👏🏻
Two Overall Wins 🥇🥇

So proud of them both, Kracka was a superstar and Ruby rode him brilliantly!! A very exciting start for them as a partnership 🥹

Kracka was incredibly lucky to be chosen to take part in the Hughes Family Demo on both days at Your Horse Live 🤩

It was an amazing experience for Kracka and he was an absolute superstar like he’d been doing these all of his life. Walking past all of the show horses/ponies and Heavy horses on the way to the arena was no issue. The crowd, big screen and bright lights in the arena didn’t phase him at all either. Ruby did a fantastic job and I’m so proud of them both 🥹

📣 BIG NEWS 📣

It is with great excitement I get to announce that Kracka is now being ridden by none other than Team GB Junior rider, Ruby Hughes ☺️

Kracka made the move to the Hughes beautiful yard, which is only 6 miles from here, just a few days after Nationals. In this short time, Ruby and Kracka have already formed a really strong partnership together, and I am beyond excited for their future together 🇬🇧

We went to Carl’s this morning for a lesson and as you can see, they’re already looking fantastic!!

A massive thank you to Gareth, Rebecca, Ruby, Steph and all of Team Hughes for making this transition possible, and so smooth. Kracka settled in fantastically and I couldn’t be happier with this new chapter for us 🫶🏻

Also thank you to Vee who helped and supported this move, even whilst struggling with her move back to Mauritius and leaving her Lion 🦁🥺

An extremely emotional day yesterday when Vee popped in to bring the trophy she and Kracka won together at the Nationals on Sunday……
and to say goodbye 😢

Just before Regionals, Vee told me the news she was very sadly moving back home to Mauritius as soon as the Nationals were over, and so she leaves the UK this evening ✈️

Yet again, I want to say a massive thank you to Vee. Always dedicated, focused, determined, has always had Kracka’s best interests as her priority and most importantly has loved him as he were her own 🥹

They have achieved far more than I could have ever have dreamed, including:

Qualification for Nationals at Medium Silver ✅ 👏🏻 🥳

Kracka and Vee achieved 3rd place in a huge Medium Silver class of 31 starters at Hartpury Regionals today. I’m sure Vee won’t mind me saying, it wasn’t their best test, but they still scored a fab 70.45% ☺️

It’s also pretty impressive that it was a year ago today they achieved Prelim Regional Champions at Keysoe, have won 7 titles during the past year and have now Qualified for the Nationals at Medium 🫶🏻

Brilliant outing today to Addington Equestrian for
Kracka and Vee’s first ever run through Medium 75 before Regionals in a few weeks time.

Kracka and Vee yet again smashed it out of the park today. We went ventured to Onley where they rode in their first ever Medium tests, and scored a mega 74.14% and 70.74% to Win Both tests Overall and have qualified for the Summer Regionals in one outing 😁 🥳

Kracka was an absolute superstar, but I also want to say a massive thanks and well done to Vee. Her dedication, focus and hard work is paying dividends and the results are so well deserved ☺️

🏆 DOUBLE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 🏆

Wow! What a week. Kracka and Vee achieved not one but TWO National Titles at the British Dressage Winter Championships at Hartpury this week 🥹

On Wednesday they became the Elementary Silver Winter Champions out of a massive class of 36 entrants with over 71%!!!

And yesterday they became the Novice Silver Winter Champions out of the largest class of the championship with 41 entrants with over 74%!!!!!

Words cannot describe how proud I am of both Kracka and Vee. They absolutely smashed it and I am so excited to see what they can achieve in the future.

They have now won 7 BD Titles in the past 9 months, which is just unbelievable 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

A huge thank you to everyone for their support and kind words, and a special thank you to Aron and Nikita who are a massive part of the Team (as farrier and ETT) and came to Hartpury to support 🥰
