A very hot day yesterday at New Forest!
Thankfully both classes were early before the heat really ramped up.
Both of my gorgeous ponies did me proud.
Tilly pulled off a fabulous show to finish 3rd in the new forests, so thrilled with how she went for me. Knocking on that door!
But good old 'Rodge the Dodge' won and collected his HOYS ticket!
Trucking back down to the New Forest now for round 2 tomorrow with Roxie 🤞

Supreme Gelding & British Bred for the second year running at the British Connemara Pony Society breed show. Also winning the silver medal championship and taking overall reserve supreme of show.

Reflecting on our amazing day at NPS Area XI ☀️ (whilst listening to the rain outside!!!)
We took three ponies who won all of their classes and behaved impeccably!

Amesbury Samuel Whiskers (Milo owned by Linda Card) showed us how well he is coming on and won both of his classes collecting two NPS tickets and was champion of both sections! 🤩

Anchor Moorland Memory (Bobby owned by Jo Read) also gave a great account of himself (and left his tongue under his bit this time!!!!) to win the Peasedown qualifier

And my darling Roger (Chilham Pearly King) won the BCPS West Midlands Open ridden, the overall ridden championship and then the overall connemara championship winning a beautiful sash and a rug! 😍🥰
Elicia Smithers then took the reins to win the RI Junior large breeds and take reserve champion, on only her third time on him!

Absolutely thrilled with this little mare at Royal Windsor yesterday 🤩
Totally thrown in the deep end having only been to one show before, she coped like a pro and performed beautifully. Disappointed with the result but wouldn’t have taken any other pony home, 15 mins work and straight into the ring ♥️
Incredibly excited for her future, thank you Harriet Roberts for the opportunity to produce such a lovely pony, and well ridden Imogen ⭐️

I have been slacking on the show posts- apologies!! Here goes…
Absolutely thrilled with three baby ponies yesterday at National Pony Society Spring (questionable!!! 🥶) Festival
Their first time out on grass, with cold and wet conditions that weren’t ideal for novices!
First up was Ralphie (Cefn Klassic Boy owned by Eleanor Smithers), who won the Confined Novice large breeds, and went on to take Reserve champion. This lovely boy is on HorseQuest 😢😢 - he is so much fun and a joy to have about and ride!!
Next up was Bobby (Anchor Moorland Memory owned by Jo Read), who had a 2nd in the Open Winter small breeds, and went on to win the Open final!
Lastly but certainly not least, darling Luna (Rotherwood Dawn Chorus owned by Harriet Roberts and ridden by Imogen) who won her first ever class, the novice SP, and went on to take reserve champion too.
Very pleased with my little trio!

Wow what a weekend! 🤩🤩
Our first taste of the shire world was absolutely fantastic- the show was packed and such a great friendly environment.

We were totally in at the deep end at the National The Shire Horse Society show as our first shire show, but Hillmoor Roxie was an absolute dream for us, gaining some very pleasing results and lots to work on!

Wanted for a client

Top top class black (ideally, would consider other colours if special) Welsh D stallion. (Possibly also consider a full up section C.)

We are looking for the small traditional type, no bigger than 14.2hh. Must have good limb, conformation and trainability. 3yo+ (nothing younger please). Can be unbroken but in an ideal world would be lightly backed or established.

Will be produced here for this season and possibly next, with a home for life with the owner when returning home for winter holidays with excellent turnout, facilities, will want for nothing and have a varied enjoyable lifestyle
