I haven't posted for a while but just felt I needed to post this, my lovely aunty Maureen and her friend Lynn have made these beautiful poppies, I am so happy and will be making a donation to the poppy appeal. Today's model is Ernie and I think he wears it very well! 😁❤️❤️❤️❤️

After just 6 months of opening, with a brand new team, we are delighted to be number 95 in the top 100 gastro pubs! Well done to all our team for all their hard work over the last 6 months! Who knows what the next 12 months might bring! ⭐️

I am organising another walk to raise money for paws4thoughtsomerset. Kerry Hodson and her team do an amazing job and lots of my customers have adopted dogs from her. I will confirm the date and time tomorrow but looking at Saturday the 3rd of February. Starting at staple plaine at 10a.m for no more than a two hours it will be a moderate walk on the quantocks, we will then come back and go to the windmill pub for sandwiches and chips. The cost will be £20 per person this includes the lunch the rest of the £20 will go to the charity. This is a social gathering and all dogs must be kept on leads, but please support if you can, money will be going to a worthy cause and it is a chance to make new friends and see what a beautiful part of the country we live in. Another year gone and I want to wish all my lovely customers, the two legged and the furry ones for all your support. I am happy and sad as I have gained new customers and lost a few, which always makes me sad when we lose our dogs. so please have a lovely Christmas and I hope 2024 is kind to us all....###x

Due to the fact I have had a number of no shows lately, I now feel that it is time to introduce a fee for wasted time and loss of earnings. I am very sorry to do this but I have been very lenient for a long time and can no longer afford to take a cut in wages due to other people's inconsideration.
So going forward if I don't have 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment, there will be a flat charge of £15 that will be payable before booking another appointment. I know things occur and sometimes emergencies happen, this will obviously be taken into consideration. But please understand that I have taken a long time to introduce this and have always tried to accommodate to help if there is a problem but lately it has been inexcusable with no phone call or apologies.
