✨Updated post about Simba! ✨
Please continue to share!

As stated in my last post, I had the opportunity to meet this beautiful young boy. I completed a behavioural assessment and can hand on heart say he is a sweet but nervous young dog.

As soon as I entered his foster home, he approached me, tail wagging and licking my hand. The best thing for Simba is to let him come to you in his own time.

When he is approached too quickly, he will grumble and back away. Potential adopters need to understand that although he’s only young, he has been through hell. Saying this, he is SO EAGER to please and learn new things. He’s extremely loveable and will flop onto his back for belly rubs once he realises you’re not a threat.

Please share for this special boy. I absolutely adore him.

✨PLEASE SHARE FOR SIMBA✨

Today, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Simba, a 2 year old rescue who’s still looking for a forever home. First off, Simba is absolutely beautiful. He still has that certain puppy-ness about him and is SO eager to learn.

Simba is understandably nervous/wary of new people or when people approach him. This sometimes results in him growling and walking away. Not once did Simba attempt to bite or nip me. He is just scared and NEEDS someone to take things slowly and LET HIM COME TO YOU. After I entered his foster home and ignored him, he came walking up, tail wagging and licking my hand. He’s such a lovely boy that has unfortunately had his nervousness misjudged as aggression.

If I didn’t already have my hands full with my dogs, I’d happily adopt him. This boy would thrive in a home with another dog, and is currently in foster with 6 other dogs and 2 cats!

The future adopters will receive free training/behavioural sessions with me if needed.

Please contact A New Leash For Life Rescue for more details 🐶 let’s give this boy the chance he deserves.
