Armchair Pets offers friendly and informal dog training from Puppy through to our 'Top Dogs'. We have many years experience and hundreds of happy customers.

We want classes to be a rewarding and stress free experience for both handlers and dogs.

We have a couple of spaces in our Beginner /L1 Talking Dog Rally class once a month on Sunday afternoons at Bedhampton community centre, (next one next Sunday 23rd). Rally is a great way to engage your dogs brain and help build a bond between dog and handler . It's great for getting the human brain working too!
Dogs need be sociable and have some basic Obedience to attend . Message or email if you want to know more. £10.00 per session, booking in advance but spectators without dogs welcome.

Our foster dog Lulu has been with us two weeks now and settled in very well. She is very calm, quiet and well behaved, and clean in the house as long as taken out to garden regularly.
She loves travelling in the car and going on walks and is growing in confidence meeting other dogs and going to busy places. She has attended several classes and coped very well. She has a good recall ( although a fairly high prey drive so care will need to be taken where she is let off lead) , loves her food and is easy too train.
Non destructive and can be left but must have another dog as a companion or human 24/7 as hates to be alone.
Anyone want a lovely gentle little Lurcher ?

Meet Lulu, our new foster dog for Lurcher SOS rescue. Lulu is a young bitch probably around two or three years and maybe a Whippet Saluki Cross. Standing about 21 inches to the shoulder she was a stray so little known about her yet.
She is good with other dogs and has been living with a Jack Russell . Not thought to be cat friendly .
Very dainty with very long legs, she is a little timid and needs fattening up at only just over 14 kg at moment. She loves food and can sit ( but not on command yet) so should be very trainable and make a great rally dog!
More on Lulu once we get to know her better.

It was very busy at the Witterings today for our walk but all the dogs were very well behaved.
Sorry for those of you who arrived late and messaged me. I'm afraid I didn't get the messages until I got back home. We didn't leave until well past half past.
I started to take photos then got distracted by Joker heading towards a picnic and forgot to take any more sorry.
We were a small group but all the dogs had fun.
Jacky Burden Amber was impeccably behaved and Ian Hatchett, lovely to see you and Dora. Same place next year!

Day Twenty Four
The Nativity
So we were a bit over ambitious here , especially as it was filmed in one evening class (apart from the very first scene).
I hadn't taken into account how spooked some of the dogs were by the other dogs costumes
and no one wanted sit close to each other. ( Apart from Mary and Joseph who were perfect)! Then there was Joker! We ran out of Kings on second part so he had to stand in.......sorry Wesley.
And after making a fantastic costumes for Maisie (and Keena ) Elaine was poorly so Angel Gabrielle had to have her picture taken at home.

Day Eighteen Keena didn't want to be left out of the limelight. It's not to clear to see but she was collecting a present in her basket. Keena loves to carry her basket.

Days Seventeen The dogs love pressing the buzzers but it can get a bit noisy! Staring Oscar, Mable and Nan, Keena and Amber, Joey and Badger, Hamilton and Hugo, Cookie and Kayla.

Day Sixteen Proof you can teach an old dog new tricks. 14 year old Mable, having fun. I love the way she holds the crook at the end. All Keena would do when I tried is try to carry it off!

Day Fifteen Anyone need a hankie? Staring Nan, Kayla, Cookie, Mable Amber and Keena.

Day Fourteen. Nan is very enthusiastic about her counting lessons.
