Hello everyone! Sorry about the radio silence, I was taking a bit of time off over Christmas & New Year to be present with my family 🌟 but now I am back and in the full swing of things! Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet on here recently- it has been a super busy couple of weeks with the ponies, and this week I am also at with the trade stand!

As some of you may know I had a week away from all the ponies last week (how dare I!!) and took myself off to Scotland! They seem to have forgiven me for leaving and I have had such a rewarding week back with them 🥰

Been a busy busy few weeks!! I’ve been a typical Brit and complaining about the heat but safe to say I’m glad it’s cooling down now ☀️ and it’s been so lovely to be back with the ponies!!🐴 counting down the days now until I’m off to Dublin, then straight over to Blair after that for a 2 week stretch!!📅💜

So I decided Friday should be take my Nan to work day! She’s the woman that started it all for me- she bought me my first block of riding lessons at Sunshine Riding School when I was 8 years old, and since then has paid for most of my lessons/boots/clothes/everything horsey (and a lot of non horsey things too😂). She always has been, and continues to be, one of my biggest supporters, and I am so so grateful to have this wonderful lady cheering me on through everything I do ❤️
So although she’s not horsey herself, she does love them, and jumped at the chance to come and spend the afternoon watching me ride! She even gave me a huge help with the poo picking! I promise I didn’t ask, she secretly loved it 😂
I am so grateful to my Nan always, and it also can’t go without mention that I am super grateful to have the loveliest of clients who allow me to do things like this- I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I am so lucky to be able to say I truly love my job ❤️

Been a lovely few weeks back at it! Didn’t get too many pictures unfortunately as been super busy, but here’s a couple highlights from this week🥰 also featuring my younger brother who had his first time on a pony this week too! Was very impressed with him, he was a natural 😄
And of course I’m super excited to head off to Bramham horse trials on Tuesday, just praying the weather is good 🫣🥳

I have some full and half day availability over the next couple of weeks! Available Monday to Friday for all general yard duties and riding, holiday cover, sickness cover, poo picking/ragworting etc😊

So- Chatsworth… not quite the post I thought I would be making😅 After 2 days of setting up, at 4:30pm we got informed the show would unfortunately be cancelled due to the weather 😢 But I decided while I was there to make the most of it, so stayed the night and went on a tour of Chatsworth house instead!! So please enjoy a slightly different bit of content, and hopefully Bramham will go more to plan in a few weeks!!! 😅🫶🏻

I wanted to extend a really heartfelt thank you to all of my clients, family and friends who donated either money or items to Cecil's Horse Sanctuary over the course of my birthday weekend- we raised £200 for them and A LOT of horsey things! I dropped it all off today and Cecil’s were so extremely grateful to you all!!! So thank you all so so much, from the ponies, volunteers and me ❤️🐴

It’s almost Halloween… and that means getting the ponies into the spooky spirit too!!! 👻🤍

WOW! It feels like only yesterday, but it’s been a whole year since I officially opened my diary and announced the start of ALG Equine 😨 and what a year it has been!!! To be truthful, leaving my previous job with all intentions to start my own business at 20 was the scariest stage of my life so far. I had absolutely no idea if I would be able to make it work, and questioned often if I was making the right choice. But now, I am so glad I bit the bullet, as even just in the last year I have met countless wonderful horses, ponies and owners, and my job has taken me all over the UK!! I’ve said it many times before, and this won’t be the last, I am so blessed to be able to say I love my job. Thank you to everyone who supports me every day, and thank you to my amazing clients- I wouldn’t have been able to achieve any of this without all of you! Cheers to 1 Year, I’m so excited to see what the next has in store 🧡
