🐈⬛ Midnight has been with us for 1 month and is now looking for her new home 🏡
Young, neutered and microchipped.
While she has been with us she has slowly been coming out of her shell more. She would appreciate a quiet home without any other animals or children. She will need time to get used to her new home and family but she is very sweet and just needs alittle patience.
If you think you have the perfect home to offer her please call us on 01293 223321 and speak to either Emma or Sarah
EDIT: clear now.
Crash on Hempstead Road with partial road closures. Please be aware if you're coming in this morning.
Hope all you dad's to furries, feathers, scales and everything in between have enjoyed a relaxing day 🐾
Red came to visit us at Cassiobury today for a 2nd vaccine and met lots of our team to make visiting the vets a very happy experience
This is Custard and he was terrified of coming to the vets and meeting new people this time last year. In December, he started desensitisation sessions with our nurses and has come on leaps and bounds since then.
Custard now gives his mum a sing-song on his way to the vets because he is so excited to see his friends at Park Vets.
We are so proud of Custard's progress, and love seeing his happy face now when he visits

Here at Park Vets, we love to see all your weird and wonderful pets, including birds, reptiles and small mammals. Willow, a continental giant rabbit, came in to see us with very sore feet. After starting on daily injections and adjustments to her bedding and flooring, she is now doing much better! The first two photos show the sore on feet and the second two photos show healthy fur and no sores.
Pododermatitis is a common problem affecting bunny feet. When you come in for your health checks and routine vaccinations, we can check for this condition. When treated early, rabbits can often and do make a full recovery!🐰

Lennie came in to see us as his owner noticed a lump had appeared on his elbow and grown to be quite large. The lump unfortunately had burst and created an open wound which was bothering him. Lennie was booked in for surgery the next day but due to the size of the lump, we were worried we wouldn't be able to close the skin once the lump had been taken away and the possibility of needing an amputation was considered.
Lauren decided that the best course of action for Lennie would be to try to remove the lump and perform an axillary pattern flap reconstructive surgery. This type of surgery involves borrowing some skin from a different part of the body where skin can be spared from.
The lump was completely removed and an area of skin was partially removed from further up his body above the armpit and rotated over the area that needed to be covered. Lennie and his owners went through a very strict recovery period to give this piece of skin the best chance of taking in its new location and we were delighted to see it was a huge success. Lennie is now back off lead and enjoying stretching his legs!
Analysis of the lump revealed a low grade type of soft tissue tumour that had been completely removed and should not reoccur. We are all very pleased with the outcome of Lennie's surgery!
We are offering a £10.00 discount on the price of microchipping your cat until 10th June 2024 or you can join our Pet Health Club and have the full cost covered under the scheme - contact us for more information

Diabetes mellitus is a hormonal disease that often affects our cats 🐈 All cats can suffer from diabetes; however, it is most commonly diagnosed in older and obese cats. It occurs because there's not enough insulin to keep the blood sugar concentration within normal values or because the cells become resistant to its effect. For most cats, insulin therapy along with dietary management is the treatment of choice. Though it's a chronic disease, with proper veterinary monitoring, diabetic cats can lead long and happy lives 🥰
Watching your pet have a seizure can be very frightening, and owners can be caught off guard when this happens. Fits can have different presentations ranging from localised tremors to pets losing consciousness, shaking uncontrollably, vocalising, and paddling. Afterwards, it is normal that they feel disoriented for a while. If your pet has a fit, please try to remain calm as this will be the only way you can help them.
Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) is a frequently diagnosed problem in cats, with overweight animals and those who don't exercise often seeming to be more at risk. As there are many conditions that can cause FLUTD, please talk to our team if you notice your cat is having problems urinating. Some of these, like complete urethral obstructions, are medical emergencies and can be fatal if left untreated ⚠️
