Part 2

Update from Chelle

It's been a sad, emotionally draining week with 3 hoggies giving up the fight 🌈
On Saturday, I lost Riley 🌈. It was a complete shock as he seemed to be doing ok.

Then, on Sunday morning, I found Rowan had also gone 🌈. Another unexpected loss.

And then last night, I found PS3 had gone 🌈.

Now, onto more positive news. After weeks of treatment for ringworm, Rascal's spines have started to re-grow. He is eating well and gaining weight and has just moved into a big boy cage 😊

And, not much change from Norman and Poppet. Treatment continues on each of their skin issues. For big fellas at 1.5kg, they are remarkably tidy πŸ˜‚

Jo @ Oakwell Updates;

Released early in the week was Davey, good luck πŸ¦”

Admittances;
Fred came in from Christine and Rob who made a donation which was appreciated many thanks. Fred has been attacked by possibly a dog and looked like he had lost an eye, but antibiotics reduced swelling and he has both eyes 😍

General;
George is a star resident ✨️ and doing well and gaining weight slowly.
Susan is a scruffy hogπŸ™„ and loves to πŸ’© in her feed dish.
Bean 😍 is grumpy 😠 and huffs at me but gaining weight and loving life.
Rupert is a πŸ₯° he is ready for release once Pauline is back from her holiday.
Maddie is still struggling with Lungworm but on meds and fighting. 🀞
Gilmore is doing ok and gaining slowly.
Pudsley has also tested positive for Lungworm and treatment ongoing.
Rubble once weather is better will be released 😍
Sammy πŸ™„ very dirty and trashes cage within 5 mins and slow with weight gain.
Jim has a new hobby to see how high he can πŸ’©
Hannah has now finished her Lungworm treatment 🀞and gaining.
Toni, still having baths and sprays for skin issues, πŸ’© check today as she did cough as I was in room, of course after she had been cleaned out so waiting for πŸ’©

Newspapers would be appreciated as I am running low and these hogs go through them at an alarming rate, can collect from most Barnsley areas.

Lesley

Saffy has had a good week gaining weight everyday currently 554g, Saffy likes order in her crate, food in one bit πŸ’© in another and nest in another. Makes it nice and easy to keep clean. Update from Chelle.

New in on Wednesday was Riley. This fella sauntered up my path at home while I was on my lunch break. I think this poor little boy has been tempted by pumpkin, left lying around after Halloween, as he had an upset tummy and was a little dehydrated. Hopefully, he turned up in time for us to help. He definitely knew where to come to 😊 If you do see pumpkin left on the ground, please dispose and keep the hoggies safe.

No change for Norman and Poppet, who are still being pains with their skin issues.

PS3 has lost more weight, but his sample is clear, so we will keep trying to work out what is going on.

Rowan has worried me this week, with some weight loss, and then yo-yoing. I am trying to tempt him with new foods to see if I can kick-start him into action.

Finally, I am still treating Rascal with medicated baths to treat his ringworm. He is putting on weight but has lost about 60% of his spines and looks a sorry sight.

Rebecca;
Casper is back with me at nearly 800 as @⁨~Margaret Goddard⁩ is going on holiday.

Elm and Diane are very slow at putting weight on but there adding.

My Sunday admission didn’t wake up on Tuesday, 😒

Rachel;
My 2 are slowly putting weight on, now crawling towards release weight
