A lot of people consider very carefully what they and their families eat and try not to consume too much processed or junk food. Living naturally our animals have survived by killing prey for thousands of years, so why should our domesticated pets need pet food companies to process their food with the addition of fillers, chemicals and preservatives?

BARF stands for “Biologically Appropriate Raw Food,” but don’t panic—it’s not that kind of barf. This diet for dogs is all about raw meat, bones, veggies, and fruits, aiming to mimic what dogs’ ancestors might have eaten in the wild. The idea is to give your dog the nutrients in their most natural form, which is said to boost coat health, energy, and digestion. Meet Bear and one of his best buddy’s Cooper.
Bear unfortunately had a parasite that caused him to lose a lot of weight. After transitioning on to our raw food diet, he has not only put the weight back on and loving every meal he has, but he is also thriving with he new found source of energy and protein.
It fills our hearts with joy to see Bear and Cooper playing together again. ❤️

This amazing little champion came in with its loving owner and told us she was given poor advice from the vets about diet when this dog went in to be spayed. The vet terrified the owner and they then put the dog on kibble, now finally listening to the dog after she was barely eating they decided to come back to us here and ever since had been loving and finishing all of her food. 🐶
