⭐️ Please share this Reindeer message ⭐️

Please do not use glitter in your reindeer food on Christmas Eve. It is plastic and harmful to wildlife. Even biodegradable glitter.

Instead, just used rolled oats and bird seed to help the wildlife in your garden πŸΏπŸ¦”πŸ¦‰

πŸ¦’πŸ§€πŸŽ„ HAVE A GLOVELY CHRISTMAS! πŸŽ„πŸ§€πŸ¦’

Our nurses have been busy creating this Christmas Tree to enter into St John's Church Christmas tree competition, which they have titled ' Have A Glovely Christmas'. Complete with our logo, a swan angel and vaccine vial baubles, we are hoping we are in for a chance of winning top prize!

The winner will be decided this weekend so if you would like to see this beauty in all its glory, please pop along to St John's Church in Cranford, NN14 4AE. The trees will be on display from 3.15pm - 6pm Friday 22nd November and 11am - 4pm Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November. Entry costs Β£3 and includes a hot drink and mince pie, mulled wine, elf hunt, miniature Christmas village and a raffle.

Keep your fingers crossed for us that the gloves don't deflate (excuse the pun!).

Have you ever wondered what to do if you found a lost, stray or feral cat? 🐱

Here are 5 steps to follow:

1. Try not to feed the cat unless they look obviously underweight. Feeding a cat will encourage the cat to come back, even if they have an owner.
2. Put up posters and list the cat on your local community page.
3. If the cat looks to be in a bad way, possibly neglected or treated cruelly, contact the RSPCA.
4. If the cat is happy to be handled and if you are able to, take the cat to the vets where they can check for a microchip.
5. If the cat doesn't have an owner, contact your local Cats Protection who can provide support and guidance.

Halloween has been and gone, and now we’re left wondering what to do with the pumpkins we carved. Don’t just throw them away! πŸŽƒ

If you have a garden or outside space, you probably get wildlife visitors who would love a tasty pumpkin treat – even if you don’t always see them. Squirrels, foxes, badgers and birds will all enjoy pumpkin flesh. Check that the inside isn’t burnt or scorched and remove any candle wax. You may want to cut it up into chunks for animals to eat easily.

P.S please don’t leave pumpkin at ground level as it can cause diarrhoea in hedgehogs which can be dangerous for them when going into hibernation. Pop it on a fence, bench, bird table or similar so it can be accessed easily by those who need it whilst protecting our prickly pals βŒπŸ¦”
