When you have dogs and you need to take your own temperature ! Do you ever look at the thermometer and wonder who’s temp was taken last 😬😬😬😬dog or human 🐕🐕🐕💩🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😳😳😳 I’m not going to dwell on that thought…. And no of course I don’t have 2 with labels on them “Human” “Dog” !!

Covid Alert🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ sadly I have been in close contact with family who have tested positive for Covid. It is still highly contagious and still claiming lives, SO I will be adapting to Covid Rules for the next 10 days in case I have contracted it. For those who have already got appointments I will message you individually. I will not be booking new appointments for 10 days and of course if I do get it, I will close the clinic.
I apologise for any inconvenience this will cause. Please stay safe and please remember what feels like just a cold to some can be deadly to others. ❤️

It's time for and OMG just look at who we have! 🥺

Meet Lucky! A 2 year old Jack Russell male!

This boy is looking for a Terrier savvy home! In true JRT fashion, he can be a little fiery 🤭 meaning that homes with older children will be considered 😊

Lucky is good with other dogs however he would do as well being an only dog! He is much more of a people lover! 🥰

Of course Lucky is full of character! Which you can see from this photo below ⬇️

He needs time to get used to people, however once he knows you and gets to know you he is the most loving little boy! Lucky gives you so much love, licking you, barking with excitement, and his tail does not stop 💕
He gets so excited sometimes he can do a little wee when he sees people he knows 🤦‍♀️

This boy will make the best dog in the right home! He is a typical Terrier and we think he would excel in a sport like flyball!

He has so much love to give and he will love you with all he has 💕💕

Spring Affect
Goslow, et. al. also showed that some muscles are actively contracting while being stretched which results in an elastic storage or spring effect. Physiologically this is defined as an Eccentric Contraction. In the world of physics, the stretching of the muscles associated with forces of impact creates potential energy. This potential energy is released creating kinetic energy which assists in the propulsion action of the leg. This effect increases with an increase in velocity and related gait adaptations. So the spring effect was more prevalent in the gallop gait. This can play an important role in sprinting activities or sprinting competitions like lure coursing, agility or flyball. The stronger or better conditioned the musculotendinous structures are, the better able they are at handling the stretch or spring actions of these muscles. Eccentric contractions can lead to muscle injury. So the better the muscles are conditioned results in a reduced risk of injury. Fatigue plays a major factor in how these muscles handle the stretch or spring action on muscles. As the muscles fatigue, they will lose their tautness, which reduces the spring affect. This results in the muscles actually having to do more work as the kinetic energy drops. As fatigue sets in, the potential for injury increases. The joints and muscles are exposed to strains that may be above the strength of the structures. This applies to every activity the dog performs.
