The Update You’ve All Been Waiting For!

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be starting back to work on Thursday, 6th March!

As much as I can’t wait to see all of your lovely dogs again, I’m easing back in gently with just a couple of dogs a day while my hand continues to regain full strength.

I truly appreciate your patience as I work through the waitlist, and if you feel your dog can wait a couple more weeks, please let me know—it would really help me manage appointments.

Post-Surgery Update

Good news! I’ve had my stitches removed after my carpal tunnel release surgery, and now the focus is on rebuilding strength in my hand and wrist. Recovery is going well, albeit slow, and I’m aiming to be back at work in about four weeks. I’ll keep you all updated on my progress—thank you for your patience and support!

Hi everyone! I’m now two days post-surgery, and I’m happy to share that everything went well. I’m taking it easy and focusing on recovery, but I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU for all the kind messages and well wishes. Your support means the world to me!

Hi everyone,

I’ve realised I haven’t posted since before Christmas—I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and a happy New Year!

Just a quick update regarding my operation: unfortunately, it has now been rescheduled to 28th January. I’ve done my very best to fit in as many of you as possible before then, but I apologise to those who are having to wait a little longer. Please rest assured that everyone will be added to the waitlist, and I’ll be in touch as soon as I know when I can return to work.

🐾Important Update🐾

Some of you may already know, but I wanted to let everyone know that I have a hospital appointment on Tuesday, 14th January, for carpal tunnel release surgery. This is a necessary procedure to ensure I can continue grooming all your beautiful doggies for years to come!

Unfortunately, this means I’ll need to take around 6 weeks off for recovery, and I’ll be easing back into work gradually afterwards. As a result, all appointments booked after this date have been cancelled.

I truly apologize for the inconvenience, and I appreciate your understanding during this time. I’m putting together a waitlist for when I’m ready to return to work—if you’d like to be added to the list, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Ronnie has just graduated from his puppy groom to his first full haircut—and he did amazing! 🎉 It’s so important to introduce puppies to grooming as soon as they’re ready. Here’s why starting early makes all the difference:

1. Helps them get used to the grooming environment: New sights, sounds, and smells can be overwhelming for puppies. Early exposure helps them become comfortable, reducing anxiety later on.

2. Builds positive grooming habits: Starting early establishes a regular routine, so your pup learns that grooming is a normal part of life—less stress for everyone!

Before your grooming appointment, please be sure to thoroughly check your dog for fleas.

If fleas are found, your dog will be sent home and can only return once the issue has been fully resolved.

I understand this policy may seem strict, but it’s in place to keep my home and all other clients' pets safe and comfortable.

First, I want to say a huge thank you for all the kind words, thoughts, and support after my recent post about losing my old boy, Meeko. Your messages have truly touched my heart. Meeko was such a special part of my life, and your compassion has made this tough time a little easier to bear.

As a way to bring some joy back into our community, I’m excited to share with you some beautiful photos of the gorgeous doggies I’ve had the pleasure of grooming recently. Each of these pups has brought so much light into my days. I hope these photos bring a smile to your face, just as these wonderful pets do to mine.

Dear Friends and Valued Customers,

I wanted to take a moment to share some news with you, especially as many of you have been asking about my dear companion, Meeko. Yesterday, I had to say goodnight to my old boy for the last time. It's been incredibly difficult, but I find comfort in knowing that he is at peace now.

Meeko was more than just a pet; he was a loyal friend who has been by my side through so many of life’s moments. Your kind words and thoughts over these past weeks have meant the world to me. It’s been a tough journey, but knowing that Meeko was in your hearts as well has brought me a sense of community and support that I’m truly grateful for.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and the love you’ve shown during this time. Meeko may no longer be with us, but the memories and the joy he brought will always remain.
