We run Kennel Club Good Citizen sessions, Obedience sessions and Agility and Hoopers training

Wellingborough Dog Training club is a non-for profit organization that allows dog owners to learn from fully qualified and experienced instructors, Wellingborough Dog Training Club runs classes in; Obedience: for the complete beginner with their first dog, to the more experienced dog handler looking to compete. Other classes include Agility, a high energy sport for both dogs and their handlers.

Update: The course is now full.

🐾🐾We have a couple of spaces available in our KC Bronze Good Citizen obedience class starting this coming Wednesday 20th November at 6.30pm at Wellingborough Rugby Club.
Ideally dogs will have done some basic training and be sociable around other dogs. The course lasts for 8 weeks with a break for Christmas. The cost is £60.00.

What a fantastic day at The Chiltern Interclub Match! For many of our members this was their first taste of an agility show and wow what a fantastic show they had! Fantastic results all round leading to Wellingborough DTC winning the match 🥳 🏆 🤩

We are extremely proud that our trainer, Gemma Haycock, won the World Agility Open pentathalon win on spot at the weekend to represent Team England with Jukebox 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Not only that, but she won the British Agility Championship Final with Jukebox AND the Novice Final with Mistake! Absolutely phenomenal performance 🤩 Well done Gemma, Jukebox and Mistake 🤩

🐾 New Good Citizen Puppy Intake 🐾

Our next Good Citizen Puppy Foundation course will start on Tuesday 4th February 2025 at Wellingborough Rugby Club, Doddington Road, Wilby, NN29 7TZ. If you are interested in joining our waiting list, please visit the rugby club on a Tuesday evening between 7pm and 7.30pm prior to the course start date (*we will break from 10th December for Xmas*), to introduce yourself and your dog. We will be able to talk to you about the course and we will require a £20 non-refundable deposit to secure a place on the waiting list. The full course runs for 8 weeks and is £60 in total.
