Our beautiful Silvertip Tetras enjoying an Aquacare Tropical Tab for their breakfast this morning.
These are really active fish which make for a fantastic display when kept in larger group numbers. The males develop a rich copper colour when older which really makes them stand out.

Keeping your fish stimulated in their aquatic environment is a great way to help keep your fish happy and healthy, ways like in the video also offer a great chance to health check them close up. There are lots of ways to provide enrichment, from changing up decor, partial water changes, adding new live/artificial plants and some fish even go as far as to chase a laser pointer which can be great fun for both the fish and fishkeeper alike!
Other ways to enrich your fish include changing up their diet. A varied diet including a good mix of staple flake/pellet and also frozen foods is great to help mix things up for your fish and keep them interested. Our Tropical Quartet packs of frozen food come with 4 different types of food including shrimp, crustations and worms which is such an easy way to keep things different and interesting for your fish!
