We have this bull looking for a new 🏠 NewPole Saracen. By Empire d’Ochain ex Inoüie d’Ozo, he’s a full brother to the Carlisle Jan 22 sale topper.

He has settled several cows in calf here, has an excellent temperament, quiet and docile, length and good mobility. Seen here in his working clothes.

We are CHeCs accredited for IBR/BVD Johnnes level one CheCs 10 for bTB.

Expressions of interest welcome for two of our 2024 foals who will be available on weaning. Both solid coloured foals.

The first is a good c**t foal out of the NASHA registered Suffolk mare Donhead Hall Cheyenne. She was bred by the late, much missed Randy Hiscock and she is by Whatton Freddie. The c**t is by Holbeache Revel and both sire and dam have excellent temperaments - Bruno will make a lovely working gelding for someone, in harness or ridden. Bruno will be registered with NASHA

The second is the filly, Umber of NewPole, by Holbeache Iggy (needs no introduction !) out of Euston Dazzling Duchess. She will be dual registered with both the SHS and NASHA. While no guarantees, this filly has show ring potential. While she will be in the International Register, her female progeny will be eligible for the SHS stud book.

NewPole Urma, by Germinal de Fooz ex NewPole Felicity (Graphite de Dessous La Ville) born 28/02/24. Felicity was a maternal half-sister to NewPole Harriet (Auchenlay Echo) and this is only her second heifer calf ! Felicity was dam of our successful show bull, NewPole Lomu, a very well muscled but highly mobile bull, a trait his dam passes on.

Been blessed with both heifer calves and filly foals this year !!!

NewPole does Suffolk Puches too… a critically endangered breed on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust’s list, we have four mares to foal this season. One foal already on the ground, a good c**t born on Tuesday evening. He will be available at weaning, all expressions of interest welcome and he can be seen at our Hub Open Day here at Middle Poleshill Farm on Sunday, July 7th 2024. Well, as they say, one out, one in. After having to say goodbye to NewPole Felicity a few weeks ago, to say we were delighted to welcome her daughter is a bit of an understatement….. obviously an ET calf, we have yet to DNA test her to determine her sire but it is one of three, Emigre de St Fontaine, Germinal de Fooz or Occupant de Fond de Bois. My money is on Emigre but no guessing, DNA will confirm in a few weeks! She is called NewPole Urma.

A day earlier, we had a cracking nearly all black bull calf born, another ET, also triple sired, Glaieul de Pont Messe/Farouk de St Amand or ideal Blackbeard. Jury is out on the sire for this one. He is called NewPole Ulysses out of NewPole Ink Berry (Netherhall Buster). He is a half (or maybe full) brother to our successful show heifer, NewPole Past Midnight.
