Alice is one of our lovely liveries who has chosen to bring her gorgeous mare to our yard. She is also one of the trusted people that cares for our herd.
So pleased to have her as part of the team.
I couldn’t recommend her more highly. 😊

Having to start my business page from scratch 9 years after setting out is awful 😖. Sadly my personal and business page were hacked and subsequently disabled by Facebook. I have not been able to make contact with a human to get it sorted as both the hacking and the disabling of the account are two separate issues.

So I have come to terms with the fact I have lost every picture and video , every post and comment my lovely followers would have written , the lot .

I would very much be obliged if you ever liked our page to start with if you could like and share it again with anyone you think would like us or benefit. 🙏🏻❤️.

It takes an awful lot of time and effort to plug social media business pages so I will continue to give it my best effort 💪.

Thank you everyone 💓 it really means a lot xx

The sound of her lovely, solid feet is like magic for me! ❤️🐴🎶

I posted a lovely video (captured by our fabulous livery and helper, Alice) of sleepy horses in one of our bedded barns yesterday. Well if you don’t have huge barns, shelters, hardstanding, etc. I thought I’d show you where our lot were this morning (raining again).💧🐴👍🏻

Impromptu video to send a bit of love, support and respect to any of you who are keeping your horses on a track this winter. I’ve never known it so wet!
Be kind to yourself, you are doing a grand job and your horses are grateful. ❤️🐴❤️🥰

I’m opening up some space for some of my equine assisted self development work….

Group spaces available!

New Year Resolutions? Really?! Let's make unrealistic promises that we, invariably, break at some point in the year??

When we keep making promises to ourselves and breaking them we set up a pattern. We subconsciously start to lose faith and confidence in ourselves which increases worry and anxiety.

The greatest gift that we can give ourselves is being reliable, intuitive, authentic and compassionate to ourselves.

We can help with that!

If you have felt lonely, crowded, rushed, flat, unsupported, overwhelmed, stuck, confused or frustrated this year I'd love you to join us and change that.

If you'd like to feel more in your body and learn to listen and respond to your senses then we have the perfect environment and knowledge to help you.

We offer group sessions of equine assisted coaching and self reflection.

Find your own answers to your questions through quiet and considered time in peace with beautiful animals.

No previous experience with horses necessary.

Our groups are for a maximum of six people.

Current spaces available in January are Tuesdays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.

4.00pm - 5.30pm

£20 per person

Sessions include a debrief group chat around the fire with a cup of something.

Message to book in, first come first served. No bookings accepted on the day of a session.

Please feel free to message for further details.

It’s so interesting to really look into the true dynamics of horses in herds. I’ve spent decades researching and I can find an article to support any fact that you’d like to prove.
The real truth, for most of the people reading this post, is that you do not have a horse in your care that is “natural” or “wild” or any other term you wish it was.
Every single horse that we encounter has been handled and had interactions with multiple humans.
The best we can do, as caretakers, is watch, observe, listen and react appropriately to every single horse individually. Every single introduction in our herd is different because every single horse is different and at any time our herd is different.
There is no right or wrong. Some need access to a stable if they choose, some want to stand as far as they can away and watch, some need to process, sleep and relax. Some need friends, interactions, connections, time…..invariably they all need time.
Stand with your herd. Breathe. Watch. Listen. Make decisions that feel right, in your gut. ❤️🐴

Give them a choice and they’ll make up their own mind. It’s invariably the opposite of what a human might have chosen for them. 🐴🌧️💧

Big extension to our winter track area. You can see a tester of the finish that will be used so that the area has good grip for the herd. This new section links the sandpit to our back yard which will greatly improve movement and flow. Watch this space for the grand opening!

Apologies that we have been a bit quiet recently but have been on a social media holiday!

Huge apologies to anyone who has messaged and not received a reply. Please feel free to drop me a message again now we’re back online.

As a little treat I’m sharing this super cute video made by one of my lovely liveries of our herd.

July in England and we’re still utilising our winter feeding methods! We have six barns, a shelter and over an acre of hardcore or concrete before we get to the tracks. Thank goodness. Some sunshine would be lovely though….

This beautiful photo (captured by one of our lovely liveries) of Roxy and Wizard. So much peace, love & trust. Our horses need their buddies. ❤️
These two are in a big herd of 18 horses on our track system but they all have so much space they can either mix together or/and have quiet times when they need them.
Roxy (sleeping) is one of our most giving, kind and energetic EFL ponies so it’s so important that her needs are met. 🐴❤️

Bringing some fun stuff into the arena for EFL sessions and liveries asking if it’s ok to keep the weird stuff up to explore with their own horses. Thank you to my liveries for being fabulous!

Evening musings. These guys are so special. Unblocking is our favourite thing to do!

Tonight I have no photos, just a full heart. My stoic mare hates to leave the herd. We’ve struggled with panic when we’re not at home. Tonight she asked me if I’d like to go on a little adventure, away. I said “Yes”. The herd were stunned. We had fun. 🦄❤️
