Meet Maya! She is a beautiful 3mth old Labrador who came in for a nurse weigh and worm appointment. She has been doing fantastically with her socialisation and like a typical Labrador, she very much enjoys her treats! 🐾

Happy ending alert!
Back in December, Woody came in to the practice as a stray.
As he was unclaimed, he has now been rehomed and is settling in very well. He is a very inquisitive little kitten who has been enjoying life's comforts in his new loving home.
He has been in for his vaccinations, as well as being castrated, and his owners are keeping up to date with his flea and worm treatment.
Here at Shepton and Wells vets, we love to see updates on your pets and appreciate having the opportunity to share lovely stories like woody's.🐾

We always want the best for our patients, no matter how small. 💕
This was the case for teeny tiny hamster Jasmine. She was seen by Vet Greg for a growth on her side. She was so tiny, she could fit comfortably in the palm of Nurse Iara’s hand!

Quite often animals come in with signs that point a clinician to one particular area of interest, which can then be investigated and treated as necessary. When an animal presents with multiple issues that cannot be explained by just one condition this poses much more of a diagnostic conundrum.

This was the case for Alfie. Read more about Alfie from Vet Josh at Vetslife -

She grows in confidence everyday!
